Dr. Davis was not only an amazing professor, but also an amazing person and friend. By far my favorite teacher ever, and one I still keep in touch with. His class can be tough, but if you make appointments with him outside of class to talk about your work, I guarantee an A! Listen in class and you'll do fine. Made a huge impact on my life!

Of all the community college and university professors I have had, I can positively say that Dr. Davis is of the highest caliber of teachers, and he has left a lasting impression on me. Be prepared, discuss, and ASK FOR HELP. If you do these things, you will benefit from his classes for the rest of your life!

I took him in high school over the tv system. out of all the classes i took at Beaufort over the tv he was the only one who learned the whole classes names. he would come on the days he didnt teach us and try to help with whatever we needed. he is a great teacher

Dr. Davis is an amazing instructor. He's very helpful and it is clear that his passion is for his students. Although he does assign alot of work, if you at least try, he will grade you accordingly. Best instructor I've ever had! :)

Dr. Davis is VERY helpful. I went to his office several times and he would always drop what he was doing to help me. It really shows how much he cares and wants his students to succeed. In reference to the comment below, while it might be true he may not show quite as much attention to some, it is because they have already proven they do not care.

Are you kidding? He's terrible! Lucky for me I'm on his good side, but gee! I feel bad for the young'ns that aren't! He picks on people he doesn't like, and nothing they do is right. Let's just say if he likes you, you'll be fine. If not, oh well.

First of all, it is kind of a shame that someone went to the trouble of rating Dr. Davis and still posted with so many grammatical errors. (See two posts down) Secondly, he is the best teacher I have ever had, and really takes time away from himself to help his students. If you only listen and ask for help, you will learn so much from him.

Mr. Davis is a wonderful teacher! He made the paper fun that were written inside and outside of class. If you need help w/ nething all you have to do is ask.You have to write a lot of paper, but you will learn alot from the work! He is a great teacher!!!!!

Dr. Davis is a great teacher. I learned a lot in his classes. You will have to write a lot of papers for his class, but if you have problems he will help you. He is always intrested in what his students think about the material he teaches. He makes you think. You will definately learn a lot in his class, not only about English but about life.

Dr. Davis was a great teacher. He was very helpful if you tried. He was always very interested in your opinion, especailly in American Lit. He tries to connect with his students and their interests and relate subjects to them. He does require and assign a lot of work, but he is an excellent teacher. I wish I could take another class under him.

Dr Davis is a great teacher. He is not the easiest but he is very understanding. I bombed all his quizzes and if you take your notes to him and show him that you actually read the text and made notes then he will give you the points for the quiz. He is very helpful especially your weaknesses on your papers. Great teacher!!!!!!
