Ridiculously easy to pass his 240 class. Like one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. I learned nothing at all and still got an A

He's not focused on his lectures. There are times that he would blabber for 30 mins about his life experience which doesn't help us in our tests. There is little to no benefit in attending his lectures. He likes to treat his students like a baby; throwing candies across the room inaccurately. Terrible teaching style in my opinion.

TERRIBLE! Loves to hear himself talk. Stories about how cool he THINKS he is, can't stay on topic, uses Test Bank questions but can't lecture with ANY content. Throws candy and talks baby talk. I am not an idiot, but he treated me as if I were.

Least favorite college professor so far. He's unorganized, inconsistent, and he wastes ALOT of time. Just because you're an expert in a subject doesn't necessarily mean you should be teaching it.

Uses creative teaching approaches. Is insanely knowledgeable about the subject. Your grade is completely up to you. Do the work and get an A. Lectures are always rich with interesting life stories related to the profession.

I took him a few semesters ago and got a D+. his teaching style is horrible, and he would end up rambling about his personal life for 30 out of the 50 minute class, and then expect you to do your homework or take a test without any help at all. avoid him at all costs! especially if your not that great at math!

I took this class with relatively little interest in the topic, however, by the end of class I was hooked. Clear explanations, makes things interesting and easy to understand, gives great examples and is helpful. I would recommend any upper level Psych classes with Prof Weisend, I took 3.

His class was by far the easiest class I had all semester. He is horrible with responding to email, he does not fix his mistakes, and he constantly unavailable. It's a do it yourself class. He post the test before the test will open on WebCt. If you read the book, and do everything on time, it will be the easiest A+ you will ever get.

I took him for stats class. Although it was my least favorite class this semester, he was a pretty good teacher. He was a little unorganized with the tests but he was always willing to fix his mistakes or talk to you about what you're having issues with. He also posts all his lectures on Prezi and tries to make it as clear as possible which helps!

I recieved an A+ in the class, due to an easy to follow strategy. Go to class, write the papers. I did two of his (also easy) extra credits, but didn't need them. His classes can be moderately interesting, but he is constantly late and the class doesn't really cover all that much. Advice: Go to class, write all the papers, grade all papers= A+

ok, i got an A+ in his class unlike 60% of the class that got a D or below. he was arrogant and didn't enjoy teaching. He cancelled class on a test day (he emailed us 5 min after class had started) and always had mistakes in the test, but if you try to argue with him you are SOL. I was lucky and worked my butt off. You may not be so lucky

What's the big deal with this guy? He's funny, but I thought his class was average at best. He was always late, gave really unclear and poorly written tests, and didn't seem at all enthusiastic about teaching. There was lots of extra credit (which was nice), but even still, he and his pal Sniffy the Virtual Rat made for an unnecessarily dull class.

Useless instructor... not only does he lack organization, but he requires you to grade peer's papers in addition to writing you own every other week.

He presents the material in a well organized manner using powerpoints that he makes available on the web. The tests are hard, he expects you to think. you must attend his lectures. he doesn't just assign a text and go over it. He actually teaches. You will end his class feeling smarter and considering grad school.
