Where do I start with Morgan? This class taught me so much about myself as a person and as a writer. Morgan was so patient through the ups and downs of my assignments. The feedback she gave really made a difference to my writing. I definitely left this class stronger than when I came in. Now we're friends on social media and I'm living the dream.

Comment:

My class this semester with Morgan was amazing. We had so much fun as a class, and Morgan played along. She gave helpful honest feedback. Her assignments were sometimes challenging, but she always gave plenty of time and was very understanding of any setbacks. I learned so much about interviewing skills and real world magazine expectations.

Morgan is a brilliant teacher. Her feedback was immensely helpful on each piece, and her grades are fair. She outlines so thoroughly what needs to improve on your rough draft that you have to simply ignore all her suggestion to get a bad mark. She's a bit intimidating at first, but she's truly quite funny and easy going.

Take this class. Morgan is a great teacher. She knows what she's talking about and offers a lot of feedback on articles. The class does workshops on individual pieces, which is very helpful. If you plan your time wisely, this class will be easier.

Morgan is spectacular. She may seem intimidating at the start, but she's really funny once the workshops start rolling and really down to earth. Also, she's had copious experience so she knows her stuff. Extremely, extremely helpful and invested in each student's work despite possibly having favorites. She's a gem.

I loved my class with Morgan Baker. She is fun, witty, and knows how to lead. She is a (small bit) flexible on due dates and absences, but don't abuse it. My only wish is that she kept us updated with grades

Take any class you can with her. She is considerate understanding and SUPER knowledgeable about the field. She understands that students have lives and stuff to deal with which is refreshing. You learn a lot, I am not looking into mag internships because of her and this class. WONDERFUL PROFESSOR!

Morgan Baker is dry and laidback and is says everything she needs to say clearly. Her notes really help improve your writing, like REALLY help. She knows her stuff, and I mean she knows it. By far her class was one of my favorite classes and helped improve my writing and voice the most. GODSPEED MORGAN BAKER

I agree that she does play favorites. I felt like she was way too lax on some people's attendence. But, her suggestions and comments were all helpful. And I admired her for fighting for more benefits for adjunct teachers.
