Do not take him. He's tells many of us that we have to put more time into the class even though, for me, I have. I went to tutoring just about every day and did my homework (which is ALOT) and still failed half the tests. He pretty much treats you like a slacker and thinks your failing your other classes if you're not doing well in his class.

I dont recommend anyone to take math 73 w/ Prof Vu IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH MATH. He writes fast lectures, and constantly has to be erasing the notes since he's unable to write on the board due to his wheelchair,(not trying to be rude in any way or form) so I understand there is less space for him to write on. He does help when you ask and kinda funny

I took Math 30 with Mr. Vu. He is a very good instructor. He goes through the even problems in the text and assigns the odd problems to do. Doing the homework will prepare you for the exams. All the exam problems are based on assigned problems on the homework. I received an A in the class.

Great Professor. Tells you exactly what you need to do to get a good grade in the class. Do all of your homework and study. He also reviews homework assignments at the beginning of the class if you have any questions. When I needed more help, I took advantage of the Math lab; very helpful. At the end it was all up to me to perform on all the test.

I've never had such a terrible teacher.He is super impatient he expects you to get everything right away rushes you through the material and tests. He gets mad when you ask questions and NEVER reviews for tests. He gives a ridiculous amount of h.w and only goes over 1-3 problems. Unless math is your thing DON'T take him!

Mr.Vu is chill. His methods on teaching are simple. He teaches you in the simplest possible way. Class is all note taking, quizzes are on scantrons the first half is mult choice, the last ten you have to show work. He is big on showing you work, cnt half ass your work. Overall he seems easy just do you work and pay attention,speak up if u need help

Sucky teacher you do the math a way you understand and he marks you wrong because its not his way. he gets mad when you ask him questions and tends to talk down on you. he makes people feel dumb always gets off subject. i hate this class and he is a bad teacher.

Great teacher, he keeps the class interesting by telling jokes. The class kinda gets hard towards the middle, but Vu also starts to break down the math. While there is a lot of hmk to do, it only helps you out during the test. Solid teacher.

I took this class in the summer which was very fast. Vu would get off topic sometimes, but he is very funny. He's really smart. Gives a lot of hmwk and test are from the hmwk. Gives good examples. If you're good with math, take him; if not,don't.

I took this class in the summer which was fast paced. Vu would get off topic a lot, but has very funny stories. He's really smart but if you don't know your math, he can be confusing. This guy is funny. He loves to get off topic but he knows his schedules and calender, he teaches really good. Full notes every lecture day on at least two or three sections of one chapter. The tests are half multiple choice and half written. Final is all multiple choice. I'd take him for math 70 for fall but he's not >.<

god i hate this class.! if you notice a blonde girl who starts taking about beer within the 1st 5 minutes and she had him before, drop him! its not worth it. so far not a day has gone by when the lectures have been interrupted by the annoying banter between the two. hes kind of a creep. yet very easy if you know the subject.

Plain and simple if you're good at math and want an easy A, then take him. Dont need to go to class alot if you are a good math student. Just do your hw and that helps you know the material for chapter tests you take. Math is boring so obviously the class is boring but he himself is a cool guy. If you're not good at math then dont recommend him.
