Dr. Wolff is obviously a genius. He is entertaining, easy to follow, and could teach anyone to love math. As a math major he is so so helpful with finding a path for me. I know he does this for anyone who seeks his help. Encourages office hours and truly wants everyone to succeed. Challenging exams but has a more than generous grading scale.

Comment:

I hated math before I took a class with him and liked his class so much I considered majoring in stat. Great professor and wonderful human being. He knew I was going through a hard time and constantly checked on me. Makes an abstract course easy to understand and makes the material interesting and applicable. Very, very helpful professor.

Dr. Wolff is hands down the most brilliant, nicest prof I've ever met. He gives a lot of homework that's not exactly mandatory, but his quizzes and tests are super similar to the HW problems so doing HW will benefit you in the end. Also if he sees you do the HW and participate, he will boost your grade if you're on the verge. Highly recommend

Comment:

Dr. Wolff is perhaps the best professor I've had. His lecture combines wit and his profound understanding of statistics, making some very complicated theory accessible for students to digest. Furthermore, he seems to know well about the role a reward plays in motivating people to perform better in the social context. He is very nice person.

I love taking classes with him so much I'm taking non-required classes with him for fun! He's energetic and jumps from one thing to the next at the pace of the classes. (Slow if students need it, fast if students get the topic)

Dr. Wolff is the best math professor I had/have at Arcadia. His tests and quizzes are challenging and requires you to think "outside the box." However, he is very clear and great with helping students understand the concepts. Attendance isn't mandatory but your grade will suffer if you miss the material.

LOVE THIS MAN! He is my advisor as well, and he is THE most helpful person i have met at Arcadia. Wants his students to succeed, and adjusts the class based on how well students grasp material. Not an easy A, but well worth the work to get it. He has such a great sense of humor, and really knows what he is talking about! TAKE HIS CLASS!!

This class was by far the hardest for me this semester. Prof. Wolff was amazing none the less, he is always asking to see if i need any more help and he is always willing to answer any questions (both in and out of class). All in all he is a great guy and if you are able to grasp the concepts he will make it "the easiest class on campus"

This is my absolute favorite teacher! I love math and he loves it as much as (if not more than) I do. It's also obvious that he loves to teach. He knows the material extremely well and presents it in a fun way so even people who aren't interested in the subject can enjoy the class.

The best math professor I've ever had. Not only is he VERY knowledgable in the subject area, but he's VERY good at explaining and teaching it. Which is rarely the case with math professors, believe me I'm a math major I've had 10 of em. He's also very funny and makes class enjoyable.
