Comment:

The material was organized, and Pachowicz is a decent lecturer for clear basic examples. Exams are only 5-6 questions and will be graded harshly. No significant curve. No partial credit. No mercy. No asking questions during the exam. Pay attention to difficult HW and lecture examples as they are similar to ones on the exam.

Comment:

Very clear, If you understand logic, and discrete math, it translates very easily into this course. Concepts are simple and he does a very good job of not over-complicating concepts. Uses hw questions for tests (5 ?'s per test, 1 or 2 straight off homeworks, the others modified.)

I personally found his accent hard to understand, which doesn't help because he doesn't post his lecture materials online. His homeworks are tough and his exams are 5 questions each that weigh heavily into your final grade. Do well in the lab to help offset the terrible exam policy. Super inflexible when emergencies come up. Recommend other teacher

Comment:

The digital design aspect was taught straight from the book. They say you need to finish all the labs, yet don't collect the TA sign sheet at the end? He's a good lecturer although the material is hard if you are new to engineering. He curves the grade (a little); he seemed nice and friendly. The assembly program was a cinch. I like him!

Comment:

I can't disgree that he is good. But he is not considrate at all. I have to undertake urgent travel and will be leaving the day before the final, yet he won't let me take it a day before or after I return. His simple answer: "change your plans; if you don't show up, you don't get a grade for the final". The most inflexible teacher at Mason I guess.

Best professor for this course to anything to take him and not the other. Great teacher, explains everything throughly. Homework and exams are straight forward. Go to class he explains everything and does more then enough examples because the book is horrible.

He is the best professor I've had in a long time. He is easy to understand, grades fairly, reviews before exams. If you pay attention in class and do homeworks, his class is an easy A. Never curves but you should be pretty clueless not to get a good grade.

He is one of the best professor in this school. His exams are very easy (even easier than his homework). He grades fair. His teaching style is interesting. Take him and you will get an 'A' easily if you give a little afford for his class.

This man is so gorgeous its dangerous. He says the funniest sh** on the planet. "When I was in medical school I studied 54 hours a day.." etc. (he did say that but i dont think he even went to med school) DUDE, he is so funny. And his other stuff is ok too I guess. But seriously, take him.

Good teacher, likes engineering better, should be teaching that class. But you dont really have to go to class just download the slides and study them and do the hw. And goto the class before test.
