Comment:

Show up on time and you'll pass. Lectures are really dry, but you don't need to pay attention to pass - there aren't any exams. I used this class to do homework for my next class. Your grade is purely made up of your attendance and your reports. Comp sci majors HAVE to take this class and he's the only one that teaches it. Easy A. Good luck.

Terrible professor, would never take him again. If you are an IT major, this class was a waste of time since he never taught us a single thing! Everything was just in class assignments that was just going on google to figure out how to do something and then doing outlines on it. He grades you solely on weekly reports. This class was a joke.

Comment:

Straightforward class where if you follow directions, do all of the work and show up you should be fine. There are weekly homework assignments but they are simple (some of the questions are just your opinion) & directions are clear as to what he wants. Rarely any tests but a few group class presentations. Really nice and understanding professor.

Tests were open book, but he doesn't want an answer out of the book. Have to make it your own and definitely expand on the answers. Monotone, not an exciting speaker. Text book is essential to cover the gaps in what he says and what will be in homework/tests.

He s kinda boring, but his class is easy. He gives an assignment every week but it s always worth a 9/10 or 10/10. He starts his class 2 to 3 minutes in advance and takes attendance. Anyway his class is easy and u can easily get a good grade.

Gives a few test during the semester. Takes attendence. Gets highly annoyed when asked questions or people don't understand material. very monatone voice. mon & wed are lecture days while fridays are hands on. Assignments are given weekly and due the following Friday.

hated him. never clear on assignments and hardly ever used text.1 class would be lecture, barely, then the other 2 on wed and fri we would work on our projects. unhelpful and he even criticised my work once, i kid u not. i would not recomend him at all. thank god i dont have him next semester.

Kirsch is a very unforgiving grader. He never makes it clear what is on the test and what is not. His class is a waste of time. He has no idea about what he is teaching. Monotone and doesn't inquire the class to participate. I would never recommend this professor to anyone.
