He's a GREAT Professor. He is ready to give all his extra time to students to clear anything up. Fair questions. No weird tests. everything from the book. Althought Math 122 is hard but it gets easier with him. I strongly recommend him. The best math teacher ever!

Ray is awesome. He's very passionate about math, and tries so very hard to help his students. He makes time to come before or after class if necessary and will work around your schedule. Dont get me wrong, the class is hard and sucks, but he will do his best to make sure you pass. Put forth the effort. You get out what you put in!

Ray is a cool professor. The difficulty of the material is not cool. He tries to be as helpful as possible, but that does not always help. I went to every class, I got tutoring on multiple occasions, and I still ended up with only a 3.2 average. Fortunately he graded on a curve, so my final grade was 3.9

If you want a prof who's clear in his methods and is truly interested in a student's success, this is the instructor for you! He provides all the information and tools you need to do well. All YOU have to do is show up, ask questions when necessary, and do the recommended homework. He even manages to make math fun!

I found this teacher to be very good at explaining things and he makes an effort to be sure you get all of the help you need. If you don't like math I would reccomend this teacher highly. As in all math classes, you to be disciplined make sure to keep up on the homework.

Good professor. Actually I think people whine too much about professors. Ray is fair, and he does what he is supposed to... He lectures, answers questions, and presents new materials. As with ALL classes, you must study out of class to pass. He tells you that. He is very helpful if you ask kindly and act professionally.

He is fair, he will do what it takes to help you pass, however, that doesnt mean the class is easy, it is still OU math. Proj are hard, hw is hard, and tests are hard, however ur best shot is with Ray. Good luck, you will need every single prayer.

This class is HARD; however, I place no blame on Ray. He is a VERY fair professor the finds numerous ways to aid in passing the class. He is very fair and extremely knowledgeable. If you're brave enough to take your math requirements at OU, this is your guy... Putting forth your best effort and studying + assistance from Ray will get you through!

seems like posts come after the test. don't know what the fuss is about. tests were exactly as he said they were going to be. if you studies the online tests and did your hw you should have done fine on the test, i did.

He says there is partial credit on tests, but there isn't. Last test 75% (out of 50 students) got less than a 58% on the test. Class average is 1.6. Take it at MCC or OCC before you fail it at Oakland! there are NO good math instructors at Oakland. the Program sucks! They laugh about failure rates with other professors.

homework isn't worth anything, tests decide if you pass or fail. Makes you feel dumb if you haven't had math in a long time. refers to some stuff as 7th grade algebra. heard him joking with another professor about only passing about 40% in the previous semester

Goes a bit fast, but stays after class to help out if needed (there before class too). Its a lot of stuff to learn and you have to remember it all. Tries to make it fun and interesting. Projects suck, but those are the departments. Overall, nice guy and tries to make it fun. Take if you can.
