Awful. Math is not my strong suit and I needed all the help I could get. He was NEVER in his office during office hours, even during the times he posted on the door for them! I always found him teaching another class during his supposed office hours. Would not recommend. Treats you like you're stupid.

This teacher is AWESOME! He skips around in the book (as has been mentioned) BUT he does that because the way he teaches the material (the order) makes the end of the class MUCH easier!! Memorize any chart he tells you to (only a few VERY short and EASY ones!) and you are SET!! And not just for an A...but you'll remember EVERYTHING later!

Professor Quigley is a quality teacher. Had him for Intermediate Alg, Spring 2011, Do all your homework, go to class, because he does give extra pages and skips around in the book, his tests are hard, but he allows corrections. Love HIM!

Attendance is not mandatory, but he jumps around in the book. So, if you miss class you will probably be lost. Everything on his tests are problems like he assigns for homework, except they are harder to solve. You are given partial credit and get test corrections. He grades slow, I only knew my grade from one of 4 test before the final haha.

Quigley is a good professor. He makes the class interesting and enjoyable. His tests are hard but he allows test corrections. Students taking his class need to study and do the home work if they want to pass. He calls out students who are lazy, make noise, and don't take notes, ect.

Terrible teacher, better off reading the book and teaching yourself. Worst math teacher I've ever had the displeasure of attempting to learn from. No good qualities. Plus, Is always late to class and is entirely disorganized. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

NOT worth the time & money for taking this class with Quigley!! :( If you take him push your other classes on the side & seek help from the tutors on a daily basis. You have to teach yourself by doing the homework or with the use of a tutor. Test are long, but he'll let you correct the errors & gain some points back.

Professor Quigley was the absolute worst math instructor I have ever had! No ability to clearly teach material to future teachers, poor handouts, disorganized class. Biased student favorites in class and no help when you go to his office. His tests were the longest and hardest tests I have had in my college career and I am an honors student.

he is the best teacher I ever had. This was the only class I new I will learn something and will get helped if I need. For the whole semester didn't need to go to tutor's lab cause he will slowly and clearly explain the material. Recomend everyone to take his any math class,especially if math is hard for you. All you need to do is do your homework

This is the nicest teacher I have had in a long time.If you show that you are trying he will help you everyway he can. Allows test corrections, test questions much like homework. He give A LOT of homework but if you do all of it you will be fine. Makes it hard to make an A but will pass you with a B
