Comment:

Had him for a computer science course. I thought he was a very nice guy and he is very intelligent. He helps you out when you need it. Not like other professors at Kean because he loves what he does and you could see that reflect when he teaches. His course is fairly easy. If you pay attention, show up & take down key notes you should be set to go.

Dr. Lipson is very kind and generous. He is not a harsh grader and I really learned about cryptography in his class. He does go off on tangents sometimes, but is a very nice man. Tests were easy and he wanted everyone to succeed.

For those kind of student that loves listening to stories.....this is the right klass for you. But for us that found ourselves stocked we gat no choice. He is a story teller................he worths to be given the award of the "THE BEST STORY TELLER OF KEAN UNIVERSITY"

Explains the most important material very little, and expect you to know it on the exam. He does not give due dates for assignments, or even tell you to turn them in. Then he will randomly state that any assignments given are late, and no accepted, and no credit will be given. Gives material on exams that he stated he would not be on them.

Ok heres the real deal. our class had no idea what he was doing. even the kids who knew java. he goes xtremely fast porgramming. so you dont even have time to copy his work so u can learn. cuzz he won't teach you nothing. you just have to hope u have friends who know java.

Funny how some students say he is okay and other dislike him. I think it depends on what level classes he is teaching. My opinion. HE SUCKS. He does not prepare you for the test at all. I didn't pay thousands of dollars to be screwed when it came to the test.
