READ the packets before the lab and the lab will be a breeze. Since she really doesn't explain the over all concept and is so disorganized- you will get overwhelmed for midterm/ final. However everything is in the virtual lab book- take 30 mins before lab to read it and you'll do fine.

Dr. Dellis is one of the sweeetest professors I have ever had. However, her class was chaos: there was no structure, no one knew when homework assignments were due, she was out a lot due to health problems, and she was rarely in her office when she said she would be. Overall, it was a relatively easy class if you overlook the fact that you'll rarel

As nice as she is, she is very difficult to understand when she is in class. However, for most of the year she did not show up to class because of various problems. Unless you can teach yourself bio, do not take this class.

Was out with a lot of health problems. However, when she was in class, lectures were hard to understand. Tests are VERY in depth. READ THE BOOK READ THE BOOK READ THE BOOK. read it everyday. cramming will not help for her tests. only 4 grades. you cannot afford to do badly on one test.

Most adorable woman on the planet. She had many health problems drag her out of our class which was confusing. She teaches with another Prof. powerpoints. A bit scatterbrained at times and sometimes hard to comprehend. It's possible to do well in the class. Four tests, no quizzes, one writing assignment. Attendance not madatory but GO for a B or A.

Her class is interesting in an interesting way. It's boring and you have no clue about what is going on. However, she is short and sweet. Also, gives a ton of test so your grade is hard to mess up. Attendance policy, but never enforced it.

This was a hard class, the genetics was a lot more difficult than 111 or 211. Homework problems helped and the megamanual that goes with the book is a necessity. She warned us when quizzes were coming and that made it a lot easier. Do your problems and ask questions! She will do her best to help you, even schedue outside meetings.

The worst professor I've had. She is very confusing about what she expects from you. The lectures do not prepare you at all for the exams. Asks random and confusing questions on the tests. Be prepared to learn the entire book, and that still wont be enough.

I loved Dr. Dellis! If you read the textbook, she is fairly easy. I had AP bio and have had not too much new stuff in her class. Read the book and the tests are fine.

She is a wonderful lady with a good personality, however if you take her be prepared to work. She can get confusing with what she expects from you, but she is very fair and considerate. She is also more than willing to help outside of class, which I recommend.

She give multiple choice tests and her entire lecture is by powerpoints which are online. It's rather boring but bearable. Just read the book and study your notes and you'll do fine. She's not that bad, and this is an HONORS class. Take a regular bio class if you don't think you can handle it--but trust me you will.

Very hard, very confusing. I was interested in biology before I took this class, now i'm reconsidering my major. Tests questions are deliberately confusing, and even the final cumulative exam included many minute details. The entire class is powerpoints. Didn't matter if you went to class or not, just read the book and you will be fine.

Dr. Dellis and her class are extremely boring. She simply reads from power points during discussion. Her multiple choice tests are worded tricky and she doesn't always help if you have a question. Read from the book and take good notes in class if you want to make an A. Expects too much for an intro biology class.

Horrible class. Extremely hard and boring. Going to class is a waste, you might as well stay home, the powerpoints don't help at all. She's the reason I am no longer a bio major.
