Get ready to come to class to learn nothing that will show up on your test. To pass you simply have to learn psychology on your own and do the tests. A test can be chapters 1-6 but include far more than that. Horrible professor.

His grading system is very clear. Total of 500 points: 3 exams (100 points each), 1 term paper (100 points), and 100 points for participation. If you show up and participate every week, it gives you leeway on the rest. Term paper format is very specific - read syllabus and follow instructions. Easy A - if you show up to class and study at home.

Dr. Kudler is great IF you can be a self-directed learner. He doesn't really lecture per say - just tells you what to study from each chapter. Ask questions about the material - he will give you test ?s occasionally. DO NOT SKIP CLASS - participation will make or break your grade. Watch the format on the term paper - it can mess with your points.

This professor is very caring, he may sometimes seem rude but that is only because he really wants you to get a good grade. Participate in class and you will be fine.

This class is relatively easy if you read the books - and the books are easy to read. There were three exams and one paper. The paper is not too difficult either. I really enjoyed this class and the teacher was very accessible and super cool.

Although Dr. Kudler can be interesting to listen to, he can be very rude and inconsistent in terms of telling you what you need to study and preparing you for exams. He doesn't really go over the material, but rather shows you videos or movies that don't relate to the topic. If you like a class with structure and consistency, take someone else.

Dr. Kudler is a psychologist who unfortunately doesn't know anything about sociology other than what the textbook tells him. He tells you exactly what will be on exams & guidelines to follow for the term paper. Reading the book is key to passing the class - all the answers are in the book (take notes). If you care about learning -this isnt the class

This Professor was by far the most AWFUL professor I have ever had the misfortune of taking. He doesnt respond to emails, he is extremely rude, and provides students with no clarity on the course materials. STAY AWAY FROM HIM IF YOU WANT TO MAINTAIN A GOOD GPA.

I find it very difficult to believe that anyone would have a good experience with this professor. The man does everything but teach, so you have to rely HEAVILY on the textbook in order to pass. I definitely do NOT recommend taking this course. There are much better professors available.

I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this course. I took the course to fulfill a psychology requirement, and thought that this professors reviews werent too bad. I was HORRIBLY MISTAKEN. He provided zero lectures, with the textbook being the only way to study. No information is given to you prior to taking the exams. Its as if theres no teacher

Professor Kudler was an absolutely horrible sociology professor. He could care less if you failed or passed and his lectures were based off the book, so you would have to memorize every chapter to pass his class. His class was ridiculous and I didn't learn anything from him. DON'T TAKE HIM!!!

Prof Kudler is not only adept in everything and anything EXCEPT psychology but he also couldn't care less in your progression towards being an intellectual student. Quizzes, midterms and finals were based off the book so unless you can memorize a 300 page book word for word, then don't take him. He's also very discouraging in his demeanor.

I took professor Kudler's online class in the summer. I had taken one previous online class before, which I really did not enjoy. Professor Kudler's class, however, was amazing! The assignments and grading rubrics were very clear. The test questions were straight to the point and were always reasonable. Study and you will do well.

Good class, and i like how Dr. Kudler kept the class on our toes. The reading is a bit intense, but Kudler gives good tips as to what to study on. Take your notes on the terms, and concepts he says, and the tests become self explanatory, specially because they are choice questions. I learned alot, and the instuction helps in class and in real life

Prof Kudler is one of the most straight forward teachers and I love it. He doesn't beat around the bush and lays it all on the table. The requirements are very clear and easy to meet. He goes over each chapter for maybe half an hour, and only talks about what will be on the test. Really easy class if you put in the work

You will watch a lot of boring videos that will feel like a waste of time. Just read the textbook outside of class. His papers are in APA format, which is annoying in itself. He won't baby you, since this is a college class, so expect him to be tough and difficult. SPEAK UP! He gives points in participation which is annoying. You have to say stuff.

This online course was very easy to navigate on Pierce's new online format Canvas and the professor organized everything to be easy. With this subject and the way the professor structured the course work your textbook should be your best friend because all of the exams were based off of chapters in the text. All in all it was a fairly easy class.

Professor Dr. Steve Kulder is communicates achievable expectations well. In Sociology 001, he changes one to self manage the readings that are included in each exam (3 exams total). The book he chose is excellent, conprehensible and easy to read. I am definitely going back to read sections of the book because it was that great! Highly recommend!
