I'm so sad that so many others had to experience her but I'm glad I'm not alone!! I failed her course (stopped showing up). Took the same course with Rossie Nedkova and I am at the top of the class. I learned so much from a GOOD professor that I can skip a course. But a BAD professor (Straughter) caused me to drop out of school for a while :/

Ms>straughter is the worst professor ever. If you like math please don't take this teacher. She fail 75% of the class and for the other 25% of the class she offers an IP. She doesn't help in math and if you go up for help she shuts you down. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY WILL BE WASTED. SHE IS THE WORST THAT IT CAN BE

Very Horrifying experience and workload. In the class it was terrible in that most of the class barely finished and most with horrid grades. She overloaded us with homework and was unreasonable on just doing the tests and getting them over with. I feel extremely sad for anyone who has to take a course with her. PLEASE DON'T!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! She doesnt understand that her class isnt your entire life. If you try and ask her a question, she makes you feel stupid and worthless. She has no personality. She likes to make people feel badly about themselves and isn't helpful in any way. She overloads with homework and its unreasonable to be expected to finish on time.

She know her math well, but her class is so much stress, i consider drop out of school. she's a strick grader, doesn't take into consideration math is a hard subject. More than 65% of her students fail, or give up on the class. if math is yours worse subject, you will leave her class less confident than you enter. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARN.

Clear, compelling, capacious. No one can make Riemannian manifolds so darn sexy the way "Dis" Straught can. And it doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes and pocketbook. Verily can I say that she is hotness personified.

Went to the Dean about her many issues. Grade A Horrid. The Dean said he would look into it and never did. This teacher hates her job and takes it out on her students. Please point out any discrepencys you have directly to the Dean and most importantly the President. Don't fall into this trap!

she is the most unhelpful person I have ever met. If you ask her for help from the beginning of the semester she talks down to you and humiliates you. Had a lot of problems with her. She has no problem humiliating a student in front of a class full of people.

She has an attitude and a chip on her shoulder. This is the most unhelpful professor I've ever had. She tests you on the same thing over and over, even if you do ok, so you can't finish the class by the end of the semester. Then, after you take off work for an open testing time, she won't show up.
