Comment:

She was one of the best professors. Accounting is quite tricky to start with and yes you have to work all the questions from the book but in need of help she always is ready to help a student. Bottom line is you need to read and solve questions on your own.

The course was easy but you do have to teach yourself from the textbook. Exams and assignments are clear. The only complaint I would have is the lack of notes and her timeliness with returning final marks. She did not submit them on time and blamed it on it being a distance course.

Comment:

Took Intro to Accounting with her through distance as an elective. She was a good prof- what she expected was clear for both the assignments and the exams. Was pleasant to deal with and responded to questions quickly. I found the course to be quite "heavy" for a first year course, but perhaps this was because I had little interest in accounting.

I took this course via distance and, like others have said, you pretty much end up trying to teach yourself accounting. She responds to questions by getting other students to answer for her. I would NOT reccommend taking this class from her; although she may be a better teacher outside if distance ed.

Great instructor. makes accounting interesting, replies to emails FAST, very "on the ball." But the course is intense and there is alot of work so be prepared!

Terrible instructor!!! Provides little help and she doesn't explain anything. I do not recommend her as a distance professor. She does not provide any help regarding assignments, even though most of us received fair marks. You have to teach yourself everything and the course notes are not good.

This was a hard course by distance and I don't recommend anyone doing it unless they have no way to get to class. Susan doesn't respond with helpful information when students ask questions. Nice lady but the course is hard and I felt I needed more help.

Great web instuctor; very organized; replies to all student questions/comments promptly; alot of material to cover but tests are fair. Tries to spark an interest in accounting among students. Excellent instructor!!
