Mr. Cox is really nice and laid back. I learned a lot from him but at times he did get off topic. He's also a little boring and I was always yawning during class. Overall, he taught me what I needed to know.

I took the ALEKS class and I LOVED it. Mr. Cox was extremely helpful and super nice. I would recommend him.

Cox spoke in a boring monotone voice, half the class literally fell asleep or left because he was so hard to follow.I do not like math and really needed this class for a University transfer and i didnt pass.I showed up, did the work and tried, but his teaching style is so poor that my best still wasnt good enough.Dont take if you struggle with math

I think Mr. Cox is a great teacher. He doesn't move too fast, he does plenty of problems to make you understand. The only thing I dislike is he shows you 5 different ways to do one problem and it gets confusing. He does let you turn in quizzes and tests later than the due date. And he drops 4 quizzes at the end.

The class is not hard. Mr. Cox wants his students to do well. You do need to show up everyday. The quiz is directly from the Homework. He provides a test review with all of the problems worked out for every test including the final. If you show up and put in a little effort you'l do well in this class.

Cannot understand to save my life. Gets half of his own problems wrong and is very confusing. Tells you when the test is due a week in advance if you're lucky.

I disagree with most of these people. Mr.Cox is a good teacher I struggle with math in my opinion he is straight forward to the point, he follows the text book so perfect refrence for any clarity needed. You just have to attend class and pay attention simple as that.

Quizes every week straight off homework. Tests are easy if you actually learn the material ( i learned soley from the math lab or self teaching because he is very hard to follow and sometimes gets the wrong answers to his own questions). Lets you turn in late homework. Final is comprehensive. His notes are ALL over the place.

A nice person but a horrible teacher. I only stayed the whole class period to only see if he was going to make any special announcements. Other than that I would leave. Attendance is not mandatory because he doesnt teach very well. Your better going off to the math lab for tutoring. Despite all that I made an A.

He was very hard to follow, didn't work many problems to understand before moving to teach a totally different one, messed up his own problems quite often and it was like taking numerous math classes since I had to go to a tutor and be re-taught after every class.

I took Mr. Cox last semester and he was wonderful, he was extremely helpful!! I am not good with math and I got a very good grade becasue he was very helpful, he works with you if you get confused with something, one thing attendance is very important.. if you show up for class I'll guarantee you will get a good grade...

HM. He is a VERY nice man. I am not good at math and I passed with a low B. He is confusing, but willing to work with you. He dropps grades to help you pass. Have a quiz every Monday, but copies straight from HW, so just be sure to do it. Doesn't have time to review for test a whole bunch. Show up and you will be fine.

I am taking his class right now and the semester is almost over. I completely disagree with these reviews from people. I have always struggled with math and he has helped me alot. If you show up to class regularly then it is easy. He does get the answer wrong every now and then but he is human just like everyone else. I think he is a great teacher.
