Comment:
You will never take a class like Timothy's again. Teaches in a very untraditional way and your class gets extremely close. Tough grader and sometimes directions are all over the place and confusing. Gets sidetracked easily so you never know what to expect from class. He's very passionate about teaching and cares for his students but very political

One of the most interesting classes I have taken. Only course where I learned everyone who was actually in this class and everyone gets super close. However, he is such a tough grader - almost impossible to get an A. He makes everyone participate and you need to take notes on the book (it gets graded).

I absolutely love Timothy. He pushes you to be a critical thinker and become more of an intellectual. What he teaches can be applied to all other courses. He loves participation and gets very excited when you make good points. A lot of reading but totally worth it if you love to learn and genuinely want to become a better student.

Dansdill is a great Professor but this class was one of the hardest classes I have taken at QU. Way to much lengthy homework and really tough grading and really tough assignments. If you are good at english I recommend this class. If you are up for the challenge and want to learn about grammar, I recommend.

En 203 should be a requirement for every student at QU. Are you not confident about your writing? Do you want to be? Before you graduate, please take this class. Taking this will help you sooo much when writing papers. Also, he's hilarious and one of the most passionate human beings ever. Yeah you have to put in a lot of effort but its worth it.

This class changed my life. I had never felt that confident as a writer prior to this class. If there's any class you should take before graduating at QU, this is the class. You learn SOOOOOO much.

TAKE THIS COURSE! I took EN101 and had to take EN102 with him again. His course is not just about English, but one that will resonate with you and make you seriously think. If you like philosophy you will like this course as well. You will have to learn everyone's name in the class, learn to debate, and you will be challenged in the best of ways.

Timothy is probably the most influential professor I've had at QU thus far. He is very passionate about what he teaches. If anyone thinks of him as mean, or anything along those lines, they don't know the real Timothy. He is the most helpful, and dedicated professor I've had. I definitely recommend taking one of his classes!

Hilarious, very sarcastic sense of humor. However, if you are a sensitive person, he is not the teacher for you! He makes it a point to make you "comfortable with the uncomfortable." He's very realistic and a pretty a tough grader, especially if you keep making the same mistakes in your writing. I learned so much about debating/forming an opinion

Hilarious guy. He assigned a lot of readings and essays, and expected you to understand the prompt he gave, when sometimes there was no prompt. Confusing at times but a great guy who is understanding.

Timothy is one of the coolest professors QU has to offer. That being said, his EN102 course is almost graduate level in the amount of work and analyzation he requires. DEEP annotation. Essay's aren't bad. ALWAYS talk in class. His concepts the class revolves around are confusing. Don't take if you're looking for an easy A. Awesome guy though

TAKE THIS COURSE. This man is hilarious, tough but in the best way. If you want to be a better speaker, have Timothy as a teacher. It's not just about English with him, he wants you to become an intelligent person. He is always in high spirits. The first quiz was to learn everyone's name so we could reference the person when debating with them.

Comes off as very tough and scary for a first-year Freshmen student. Yet, at the class goes on you learn so much I can barely put it into words. He is a tough grader, but he is understanding when it comes to work if you thoroughly explain your circumstances. He creates a comforting atmosphere with your peers and you will not stop laughing!

If you're only at college to get a degree, then do not take this class. However, if you're interested in taking a class that transcends the subject of English and challenges your thoughts in all different areas of life, then take this course. Dansdill will not only make you a better writer, but a better thinker, and thus a more intelligent person.

He was so intimidating in the beginning that I actually tried to get out of his class. Overall, I'm happy I stayed in it. He's big on participation so if you don't speak, don't take him because he will call you out on it and embarrass you. He's very passionate about what he does and made me a better writer. You'll either love him or hate him

In the beginning, I was intimidated. But as you learn who Timothy is, you see how passionate he is. He wants all of his students to do well. He sets a high standard, but don't let that be the reason you don't take him. I'm so happy I took a professor like him. He's hilarious and has a really big heart. Take him!! You'll learn so much!

pretty hard class but if you work hard you will do well. hes crazy and entertaining but he grades harshly on participation which sucks if youre quiet. participation is a big part of your grade so you shouldnt take him if you dont plan on being an active part of the class

How to discribe Timothy? On paper, he seems like a bad teacher: very hard grader, goes on long tangents, has very strong opinions that won't be swayed. But, if you can get past those things, it's worth it to take a prof like him in college. He's crazy, but crazy smart and crazy passionate. You'll always have good stories afterwards too!
