This class was such a joke. There is 1 discussion board and assignment every week. I don't even know if she graded those assignment. Don't expect your grades to be updated because the semester closes in 3 days and I still have nothing graded besides attendance. The lectures are so boring she rambles on about nothing. No notes or slides.

I got a good grade but I am not even sure if she graded my papers. You will have to write a paper a week which I do not think she actually grades. Also do not buy the books because they are online. Also the lectures are really long and boring so I would mostly sleep for the class.

I'm only leaving a review because I know other students will benefit from it. I would never take Rinaldi's class. Her lectures (I only stayed one day) were scattered, plus she mentions that doesn't read or respond to students emails. She also has this weird obsession with clicking pens and confiscating them.

I would definitely take professor Rinaldi again. She was so funny and was very straight forward to what she wanted. Don't buy the book you have SPARKNOTES!!!!

Her lectures are long and all over the place, she is so disorganized. There are weekly homework assignments you email to her, and she never emails back with a grade. I did the homework every week, went to every lecture, got a B+ on the midterm and yet I only have a B in the class? Gives no justification for your grade it's ridiculous.

The best professor I took at MSU. She's incredibly funny and her passion and exuberance for the subject is contagious. She definitely is quirky and probably not the best at getting papers back quickly, but her expectations are clear and she encourages everyone to learn and always was willing to help me when I asked outside of class. Great woman.

DONT BUY THE BOOKS, YOU WON'T NEED IT. Very easy just have someone sign in for you and just do the paper. Sparknotes will become your best friend.

Very condescending. Gets distracted easily. She also flat out openly said in the first class she doesn't like reading students papers and doesn't like replying to email. Her lectures were long winded and scattered. I wound up switching into another class because I couldn't bear watching her try to figure out what to talk about anymore.

She is such a closed minded person and does not want to hear a viewpoint that is different from her own. She's rude, and she does absolutely none of her work. Literally all she did was show up for class and talk. DOES NOT GRADE ANY WORK and then just emails you giving you a random grade without any proof of her actually grading anything.

She was most definitely the rudest professor I have ever had. Her emails are extremely arrogant and if you ask for help, all you receive is an attitude in return. There are two weeks left in the semester and I have not received a single grade back from her yet. I have no idea where I stand in this class. I 100% would NOT recommend taking her class

To be completely honest, the people in my class get her off subject and it's annoying. I sit in the class with my laptop and do my other work and that's it. We don't even talk about the subjects properly and its a waste of my time. I don't even show up, I have someone sign me in and I still have an 100 average. She just doesn't know whats going on

She was definitely a character. While the lectures were enjoyable, the workload was heavy. A synopsis of the lecture along with summaries and/or quote explanations will be due every week. I found it hard to keep up and if it wasn't for the extra credit I wouldn't have gotten the B+. Interesting professor, heavy workload!

We had to read The Iliad, The Odyssey, some Tragedies.cant remember the name of that book. You need all of the books for sure. For each book you would have to write a synopsis of the class and at least 2 pages, pick 2 quotes and what it means to you, NO TESTS. We got to choose our own final. Extremely arrogant. She doesn't care at all. She seriously wrote in her syllabus: don?t email me with questions if you don?t understand your assignment. That is a waste of my time and I will ignore you. I have a family, a garden and friends with whom I like to spend my time. She has a horrible attitude towards students and teaching in general.
