has a dry sense of humor like ppl say but class is easy if u r passionate about the subject. he takes his teaching seriously and is passionate about it which is why i think a lot of ppl are saying he's strict. he really knows his stuff! one of the better quality teachers if u r there to learn culinary principles and not there for just a grade.

He is rude and puts you on the spot! Military style of teaching. Straight forward. Lame sense of humor. Never piss him off. I can say he does know his stuff. You will learn in this class. Deducts points for tardiness. If you want an upbeat, enthusiastic professor that shows their passionate for their subject take another professor.

If you're prepared and work hard he can be one of the best instructors you've ever had. If you're disinterested, uninspired and/or lazy this instructor isn't for you. After three semesters I've yet to see him make unreasonable demands.

Lots and lots of hard work, but his class is worth it. He's really cool, but DEAR GOD don't make him mad! Make sure you follow directions exactly the way he says, or he will make you cry like a little girl.

You will learn a lot from this instructor if you come to class prepared, this is college after all. He is tough, he will make you work, and he will not give you a grade you have not earned. Perhaps McDonald's is your best career choice.

Can be abrasive. Wants people to work hard because that's the way he was taught. (Ex military/law enforcement) Not such a bad thing for some. If you're looking to work in a large kitchen, he knows it. May not be the best instructor for most students.

OK, HE'S DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH, BUT REWARDS PREPARED STUDENTS WITH ATTNETION, ETC. I THINK SOME OF THE OTHER COMMENTS ARE A LITTLE UNFAIR. HE'S NOT THAT BAD. TYPICAL FORMER MILITARY TYPE, AND FAIRLY GENEROUS WITH GRADES.
