Hot is a stretch... Even though it is Shakespeare, this class isnt too bad. No exams. A few reading quizzes (the only plays I read were because of those) and the midterm and final are both papers that she grades pretty lenient. Show up and participate, and you will get that stupid literature core out of the way.

Awesome class!!! Although a bit boring at times, it was full of laughs on a daily basis. She is an amazing teacher....I would definitely take a class with her again if it weren't for the fact that she's leaving!!

The class revolved around movies that we did not really use in our writing, seemed like a waste of time to me. She is a hard grader so you really have to give her excellent essays to do well in the class. Slow grader, but you can tell she loves English.

Amazing professor, person and woman. Very fun class, discussions are captivating, writing assignments are interesting. She's not the easiest grader but is reasonable and gives more feedback than any teacher I've ever heard of, let alone had.

Tripthi is an awesome person and teacher. Personality wise, you'll enjoy the class. She's a very tough grader on papers, and sometimes the rubrics are unclear. However, she is more than willing to help at any given time. The class revolves around watching movies - do all the readings and watch all movies. Not an easy A though.

I've never raved so much about a teacher! Animated, EXTREMELY HELPFUL, intellegent, and overall fun. Willing to help even on the weekends and provides detailed PERSONAL feedback. Very intellectually stimulating and not your typical UCWR course. Most dedictated teacher to students that I have ever met. She even bought us pizza and movie gift cards!

Excellent professor. Loves the work she does, and exudes it to her students. She's an academia elitist and knows it. Highly detailed syllabus, well planned lectures, extremely clear on expectations. If you work hard and pay attention in class, you will get an A and end up enjoying the subject.

Ok, her language is archaic. It is hard to understand what she is saying.Sure she is interesting. Mostly because of her bizarre statements that are often uncalled for.I came into the class loving Renn.lit& left it hating it.A lot of her conclusions of the work are completely bizarre. To sum up: bizarre, unpredictable,& may strike at u any time.Odd.

Shakespeare has seen better days. She is one hard prof, and never lets up. Has no qualms about failing you, or giving you a terrible grade. Resents the student who actually thinks differently from her. No matter how much work you put in, if she does not like you, you won't get a good grade. Don't argue with her. She hates it&will lower your grade

One of the most brilliant professors I've had the privilege of learning from. She often plays moderator to class discussion, but when she speaks authoritatively, she's challenging and captivating. She's youthful, a little eccentric, and a lot of fun. And yes, she's hot.

i would marry tripthi if i could. she is so leanient. there was more than one occasion where i showed up at the library at 10PM and asked for an extension on a paper and she said yes without hesitation. so funny, so intelligent, so wonderful. i love her.
