Comment:

Professor Milburn is very passionate about the subject she teaches. She wants to transmit as much of her "in the field" knowledge to her students... We had 2 papers and a final that do require extensive studying and research, but if you attend class and read you should have no problem getting an A =)

Do not take this professor, not sure what happend between 2003 and now but her teaching style is not befitting of a professor, she is constantly traveling leaving inept sustitutes, she is not clear on what is required of you does not review her syllabus to ensure clarity in what is required I lost my tuition because I dropped the class late.

The reason why there have been no posts about her is because she moved out of NY for a while and just came back this past semester. The class overall was pretty easy. There was a paper which was 4-5 pages (not that bad) and a final which consisted of the entire book. Just study the main terms of the book and you should be fine.

A very good grader. Group presentation is half the grade and can get stressful - groupwork, you know. 11 M/C quizzes, drops lowest grade, 5 homeworks on Blackboard, 2 papers, no final. A very interesting class if you put some thinking into it. Take her - she's cool!
