I absolutely loved this professor.Great person!I took him last year. He was so helpful and understanding. Will take his time to help make sure you understand material and Labs.Fun field trips.Not only is he extremely knowledgeable regarding the subject but also about current global/social issues. I wish more teachers and people shared his ideals.

Environmental concerns: He knows the subject. you cant leave the class without having become more conscious of our environment. However, his class is intensely boring, 75% of the course is online, which was surrise to me(i didnt choose the on-line/hybrid course option) and his exams ask questions that have multiple correct answe. Take with caution.

Awesome teacher! He is so passsionate in his his work and subject. He makes everything really interesting. He's really helpful if you just ask. He's not difficult, just be prepared to actually work and don't miss any classes or you'll miss a lot of important information.

Dr. Butler is an excellent professor. He is so passionate about teaching biology of env. concerns and will change your outlook. Very energetic and makes learning fun! Loved the field trips and learned so much. I was sad when his class was over. Study, show up, be enthusiastic and you will do well. I recommend him highly!

Helpful and Fair, dedicated to students and the course. No skating in this class. Hands-on and many tests.However, we learn. Not all tough, when you get to view the wonderful wildlife films. Overall take the class as education to the world around us. Overall: Great Job
