He's a great artist. And of course critiquing is part of an art class. With that being said, HE HAS FAVORITES. And he can be very condescending. I repeat, he has favorites. I love drawing ,but I dread going into his class because I feel personally... neglected by him for other students. Great artist. Sometimes condescending. Always has favorites.

I LOVE PUPA!!!!!!!!!! by far my favorite class. he's a real artist and i really feel that i grew as an artist in his class. i seriously love him... chillest guy ever. there is absolutely NO reason why you should not take this class. take it... you'll be sooo glad you did!

Do yourself a favor and take him if you get the chance. You will learn alot and see yourself grow significantly as an artist. He encourages you and never puts your work down. I wish he taught more classes. Oh, and did I mention he teaches at Otis? Just because of that you know he's good.

He totally grows on you. At first I hated being criticized on every single drawing, and now I look for insight on how to improve. He's a good teacher, and def. knows his stuff so you get you're $$$ worth. He's a bit full of himself though, but that can be ignored.

A 3hr long class in which you just draw cubes, circles, etc is not fun.. its pure boredom. If you dont draw the way he teaches you, he'll criticize your work to the fullest. At first when I enrolled into this class.. I loved drawing.. this just class makes you hate art!!

Such a good guy! Wow, everyone has to love him because he is very "chill"! The guy wouldn't want to make anything too difficult because he's not a jerk. If you work hard an at least improve a little, then you'll get an "A". He wants his student to love to draw, and to feel comfortable, I adored him

He's an great teacher, but doesn't give out A's easily to make you try harder. He will make you as good an artist as you want to be. Studied in Italy for about 10 years, so he knows what he's talking about, listen to him, and you will do well. Try your best and he will like you. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!
