Alan McGee is an exceptional professor at the Automotive Business School of Canada and an asset to the school. His knowledge on the communication and relationships between manufacturer and dealership is a rare commodity that often gets overlooked by most students. Overall, pay attention in class and study hard. Remember, this is a degree program.

Comment:

Allan is a great professor. He is one of the only people at the ABSC who cares for the students and actually wants us to learn. To many people complain that his classes are hard, but they really aren't. The reason that people find them hard is that they don't attend class or read his rubrics where he basically walks students through assignments.

Everyone hates on McGee but hes really an awesome dude. Yes you have to often read way more than you ever will again in your life but if you show up to class, do the homework, and put some visible effort in (E.g. participate in class) then he will be easier on you than others who sit and whine about his marking. Go to class and pay attention.

McGee takes slack from diploma students because he actually makes them do work, just because the rest of their classes are a complete joke the expect his to be as well. He actually thinks they should earn a mark, and they hate him for it. Great guy and professor, who does a lot for the students.

Mr. McGee rocks! I can say as a first year degree student, he is a great teacher who is funny and come on....the jeans are not that bad! His lectures are informative and yes I think he has a great sense of humour...plus he's an Easterner which makes him all the more cool!

The thing is he never was a university PROFESSOR he was a LECTURER, meaning he has no phD and only lectures, does not do research. So everyone has the right to be annoyed about his obsession with being referred to as "Professor". Overall a satisfactory lecturer but needs work

Wishing we had AVES !!!!! Mcgoo's writing on the board can be very hard to read at times hurting the clarity. Must admit, he knows what he is talking about but just has to work on how he conveys it to students.
