HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! I dont understand how he is a teacher, dont take him you will regret it for the rest of the semester, he only talks talks and talks the same everyclass , projects are weak, boring and dont make any sense. He tries to bring down your ideas like he knows what hes doing. Hes everything but a design professor.

Best design professor ! His manner of teaching allows you to use your creativity. He is very aware of everything details on your designs and gives you very good feedback. He is very good at understanding design concepts. Definitely recommend him for all architectural classes !

I loved sawhney! He's a great teacher and makes you feel empowered on the work you do. He's a great professor to take for d1 because he's very clear on what he wants and teaches you how to do models and really research on art. When you have questions he helps you and you feel comfortable in his class to engage with others in creative discussions!

Very caring professor that wants you to pass, makes sure you enjoy the work you are doing. Big on attendance because he does not want you to fall behind. Learns with the students and gives quite a bit of work. Your grade depends on how much you put into the class and projects. Overall loved this professor.

Best architecture professor in MDC. He is very helpful and clear on everything . Don't take him if you're planning on missing more than 3 classes because you will be dropped. Would take him again without a doubt. Highly recommended.

Prof. Sawhney is good when it comes to one on one help and developing skills, but he tends to not appreciate fine details in models like texture appropriate materials and realism. Good for grand scale drawings and models. He gives instructions then next class his instructions conflict with last class'. Lectures are long and always get off topic.

Sawhney is a very passionate professor. Graduated and taught at Cornell so, he can give you some good pointers. Assignments are not difficult, he gives you time in class to review them and fix your mistakes based on his feedback. Easy to get on his good side because he gets along with everyone and always makes jokes!

Wastes SO much time. idk how he went to cornell because he DOES NOT know how to write properly. always types in caps and says insane stuff like "DO NOT GO TO SLEEP". His design projects are BORING. same stuff every time. Does not know how to help students develop good concepts or relate the project to the site. TERRIBLE design professor.

He an easy professor to get an A in but he doesn't really challenge he's students. If you want to transfer out to a great University and have a killer portfolio I would NOT take him. Great guy just lacks good design projects.

A+! He is a great teacher, easy to get along with and so fun! His projects are creative and challenging. He can be very laid back sometimes and you'll find yourself working less that in your other design classes. However he appreciated all the hardworkers!! He doesn't like slackers!

great teacher. projects are fun and realistic. really cares about his students and is very funny. just do the work on time and he will give you a pretty good grade even if the design is not all there. be clean with your models and make sure you understand exactly what he wants.
