Comment:

He is not very clear on providing instructions for projects. It is definitely a figure it out yourself class. He is very kind though, and will allow you to redo parts of the group projects. Grades are only posted halfway through the semester. Definitely would take a class with him again though.

Comment:

He is THE MAN!!! Easiest class that I have ever taken. He is not great at explaining to his students what he expects from them for the projects, but is very flexible in the grading and as long as you show effort he will give you credit. HIGHLY recommend.

Comment:

Mr. Gordon is very vague when assigning projects and explaining concepts. His quiet and monotone voice does not make this any better. This aside, his class is very easy and there is lots of variation. It is like taking three classes in one with drawing, computer, and project days. Take this professor if you want an A.

Comment:

The coursework and homework were extremely simple, but Prof Gordon was never 100% clear with us as his explanations were monotone and quiet. The grading was also very unclear, and he usually didn't tell us which assignments were missing. Furthermore, since he never posted any grades on ANGEL, we never knew where we were in the course.

Dr. Gordon was a very nice teacher, but my TA was by far more helpful than he was. Pay close attention because he is very quiet and unclear. Be sure to read everything he gives you regarding group projects; his directions were sometimes unclear. Overall, the class was easy to pass despite the professor's teaching techniques.

He is an extremely nice professor but is very unclear as to what you're supposed to be doing. Grades are never posted so you never know how well you are doing. I usually just sat in class for 2 hours doing nothing because the directions were so vague.

If you want an easy A, take Andras. If you want to learn more about engineering, don't take him. He is a nice guy, however he seems to have very little interest in the class and his answers are always very ambiguous. I wish I had taken another teacher for the sake of getting more out of the class, even if it was harder.

He's the man. If you can get him as a professor, do it. Class was relatively easy and interesting. As long as you keep up on you solidworks and drawings you won't have a problem. The bigger projects are in teams so it makes them easier and more fun. You won't regret taking him.

Andras is a very laid back teacher. His class is split into 3 subject areas and as long as you do each design project, solidworks drawing, and drafting projects you should have no problems in this class. He is very unclear as to what he wants and is tough to get an answer out of. Class was ok but nothing special, Andras means well.
