I would rather have a root canal then go to this man's class!!!!! He feels his views should be the only way and if you feel differently, you're wrong. He throws out this vocab just to confuse you and his directions are never clear. Save yourself the headache and take someone else!!!!

I had him for an online class and it was probably the hardest class I have had to date. Now it was the summer semester and it was online, but the part that was difficult was the directions given. He would write two pages worth of instructions that made no sense when he could have written two paragraphs to explain it better.

I wanted to pluck my eyes out when I walked out of this class. He gives you pointless assignments that coincide with his pointless text. The only thing I liked of the class was my service learning experience. He is a nice man, but has trouble connecting with his students.

Okay, I think the previous comments were a bit harsh. Yes, this is a challenging course. And yes, he has a large vocabulary, but he does not force his views on anyone. If you are interested in a thought provoking class, take him. If you are interested in an easy A, find someone else.

I’m not sure how someone with so little experience in public education could be qualified to teach this course. His ULTRA liberal philosophy is so out of touch with reality that some of his comments make you cringe in disbelief. His book, nothing more than a compellation of others work, is just sociological crap often tied into socialist nonsense.

Quite possibly the worst teacher i have EVER had. Classrs are borng and pointless. He speaks down to his students and is not flexible with students at all. It's pretty easy overall but can be confusing at times. An A is attainable, but sittin through the class is definately not worth it, take someone else if you can! He is dry and BORING!!!!!!

If I had a choice, I would not take him again. I agree with prios comments about not speaking on the student's level. No extra credit, class material is very dry, although he tries to make it interesting by having groups present the material. He does make you think about different sides of certain issues but overall I have not enjoyed his class.

I would rather pull my eyelids off than to sit through another one of his lectures!!!! Do not take this class. He promises to get out early but then realtes ALL of his life stories to class. I HATE THIS CLASS WITH A PASSION!! IF I HAD NONE ABOUT RATE MY PROFESSOR BEFOREHAND, I would have saved the Monday nigth headaches! DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR,

He is extremely educated, and makes you feel as if you are not.He throws out these huge words all the time, and even though I am an English Ed major, I could not understand what he was saying most of the time. His midterm and final are easy, and even though he practically mutilates your papers, he gives a fair score. Take someone else if possible.

This class is like Advanced Chemical Formulas for education majors. Truly the most confusing class I have ever sat thru. Gives an assignment and the next week when you turn it in tells you completely different directions. I thought it was only me who had trouble figuring out the textbook-the whole class was lost the first 5 wks.

Dr. Munroe is well informed with this content; however he has difficulty speaking on the student's level. I had to read sentences of the textbook mulitple times to understand what was trying to be said. If you can find another instructor, I would try to get into that class.

He makes you think he is a lot tougher than he really is. Participate and do your work and you will be just fine. A very fair professor. A lot is expected of you, but it is college. He is a true college professor.

Munroe tries to act tough but he's really not. If you write your papers, go to class, and say a few words in discussions you WILL get an A. He does use big words and is very opinionated but don't be scared, let him know what you think. I WOULD take him again.

Extremely difficult. Talks way above students-you'll be lost quite often. Readings in the beginning are confusing and class discussions are not real helpful. Would highly recommend NOT taking him unless you want to completely stress yourself out.

Be prepared to work your butt off. Dictionaries are also helpful for in class lecture and the readings----yeah have fun with that.
