Comment:

Holsman was seriously the best professor I had in all of my four years! He made things fun and interesting and I wish I would have been able to take more of his classes. Give him and chance and you won't regret it.

Comment:

Extremely full of himself. One of the worst, if not THE worst prof. I've ever had, and I've had Feldmann and Vokoun. He seems to think he is some kind of almighty authority figure, and does not hesitate to humiliate the very students who pay his salary in front of the whole class. If you can avoid taking his class, do so.

I thought Holsman was a great teacher! He is very passionate about his subject. He is very energetic and makes eye contact with students, no matter where you are in the room. I love that he walked around and got everyone involved...lecture was more like an informal discussion with him which was great! I don't understand how anyone can criticize him

Holsman is one of the best prof. I have had. He's passionate, energetic, entertaining, and outside the box. He puts forth a lot of effort to get students in the moment with the subject material. There's never a dull moment, so class is over before you know it. I wish he were teaching more general NRES courses, because he's the best!!

The absolutely worst teacher I have ever had. He was no help to me. He has his favorites and his not favorites. If you can kiss butt then he is the teacher for you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

A very full of himself professor. Constantly rambling about how the government has failed us misserably.You would think two avid fishers and hunters could get along, but he is so damn full of himself it is ridiculous, if you can avoid this professor do so!
