Micro is the best biology class at BVU so far. Dr. Lenzmeier expects a lot but is fair and friendly and helpful. Go to the help session before the tests because it helps a lot.

Great professor! Wish I could take the class again. Expects you to know the material well, but explains everything thoroughly and if you still don't understand he is always more than willing to help, definitely one of my favorite professors at BV!

His tests are usually pretty tough. He wants you know everything on the board backwards and forwards for sure. I don't think he expects you to read the book, but it helps significantly; his tests are right from the book material. Plus, he is nicest and most caring professor you'll meet at BV. Truly an amazing guy!

If he puts something on the white board you better know it really well for the test. Sit up close because his handwriting is horrible. He does hold his own help sessions, which is great if you can make it. His tests aren't impossible but if you don't study enough you will get killed. I saw low scores around 15-20% on some tests.
