He was an awesome teacher! The class was not hard and as long as you paid attention, did the work, and came to class you were all set. He was kind and funny which made the class more fun, def. my favorite class so far at RIC.

I was a little intimidated when I started the class, but it became my favorite class at RIC. It made me look at art and nature with a new perspective. Great teacher who enjoys what he teaches! Never Boring!

best class that i have taken here at ric. you learn so much, and have such an appreciation for art after. this class is for non art majors and i highly recommend it for an art requirement! projects are so fun!! and he is an excellent professor!

I think this guy is great! It's an art class for non-art majors and is very fairly taught and graded as such! Go to class, pay attention and TRY and you'll be fine-regardless of your talent! And you might just come out with an appreciation of the art that is around you and the art that you yourself can create! I highly recommend this class!

Great professor. His projects are fun and will help you if you ask. He will let you fix your work if you are not happy with the grade. Doesn't like if people don't show up all the time.....so make sure you are in clas, do your work, and don't complain you will have a nice time.

He teaches as if he;s a 13 year old kid, by playing favorites and then grading you based on how he feels. He dislikes having art majors in his class, and if you are don't worry, the grades he gives you don't represent your talent, just whether or not you pissed him off. If you like to suck up and never miss a class for ANY REASON this is for you.

Overall the class isn't half bad. He dislikes having you in the class if you're an art major, but then grades your artwork as if you should be. Attendance is a must, miss a day and he automatically hates you. If you like sucking up and are halfway decent at art then take the class.

He is a misserable excuse for a prefessor. He will put his personal feelings about you inplace when he grades your work. He plays favorites. He treats his college students like the highschool students he teaches in Smithfield. He will never grade you fairly and in his class, your opinion will never matter even if he invites you to give it.
