Comment:

Dr. Co puts in a lot of effort to teach the material. His tests require not only your understanding of what was covered in class, but an 'out of the box' epiphany about some obscure theoretical nonsense that was not explicitly covered in his class. It is an adjustment going from poor teachers to Dr. Co because he expects so much.

Attendance is not actually mandatory but if you skip you will fail. He is one of the best professors you will ever have in terms of teaching the material. That being said the class is very very hard and you will have to study a ton and work for a good grade. There is a fairly generous curve. Only 3 F's and 3 D's

Dr. Co is a smart prof. He has a good understanding of the fundamentals of chemical engineering. He will push you to understand what you are doing; not to memorize equations. I've taken two courses with him and controls (che4071) became a great interest that I've applied at my co-ops. read the book and ask questions.

I took Eng Controls and Fluid Mechanics with him. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, I love that he only teaches you what you need to learn. No homework required, come to class and you will get a good grade, he's quizzes are not easy but he grades fairly! I love his way of teaching wish if all engineering professors copy him. You won't regret taking his classes.

Really great guy, pushes his students to do their best. 9 "quizzes" over 15 weeks were stressful, however I learned more in his class than any other ChemE class. Really cares if the students learn (comes in early and stays late to answer all questions). Also cares about the engineering program as whole. My favorite teacher! You must work hard.

Gave 7 quizs for a seven week quarter which may have well been exams. The material that was covered was outside what you could pull out of the book so it was extremely difficult to study and do well. Throughout the entire course he made everyone feel like an idiot from the poor grades but it was from his lack of teaching not the students. Avoid Him

Does not know hoe to teach in the class. No Preparation for class just goes and put book on the projector and gives the CD notes on the book as the lecture notes. Not try to work hard for the class. Gives easy grades. No teaching skills. Abusive and Self centred. Never join him as a grad student.
