Comment:

Very easy classes, just adds a lot of busy work to her assignments. She'll tend to give out answers to answers on homework, which in turn will be most likely on the midterm and final. As long as you participate and do your homework, you'll be fine. Also, a little brownnosing doesn't hurt either.

Very easy class, if you put in two % effort in doing the assignment you'll be fine if you cant you shouldn't be in college. Sometimes gives you the answers for midterms. Corrects students in their Spanish, just do the work.

Faccini is a very nice woman, until you get an answer wrong, and then she makes you question why you are even considering Spanish in your life. She is impatient with students and often scolds in a way that makes you feel defeated. Although the class itself is relatively easy, it's all busy work and she is rude.

Dr. Faccini is a very kind professor. She often assigns homework, but it isn't difficult at all. If you put in the effort and participate in class, you will do well. The class itself may be difficult depending on how proficient you are in the language. Other than that, it was an enjoyable class!

she is probably the worst teacher i've had at SJU. extremely unorganized, sends assignments late at night the day before they are due. she treats the students like we are in middle school walks around and checks worksheets like in 3rd grade and asks kids why they didn't do it when they don't have their assignment in. DO NOT TAKE HER

I don't understand how she got her doctorate. She is extremely unorganized and loses assignments all the time. She has favorites and makes it obvious. She picks on students all the time and NAGS all the time. But, she is a fair/easy grader. If you're willing to hear her annoying voice nag for an hour, take her. Otherwise, try to avoid.

I was scared the 1st time I had Carmen from her rating, but I had her for Intro Lit. Shes SO funny. Just participate alot and do the hw, and ur fine. (like, A fine)she gives term papers twice and lets u submit them twice for grading. Take her.

Worst teacher I have ever had by far. Had her for 9am second year spanish. Dreaded waking up knowing I had to go to her class. Got yelled at for yawning. Always complained about something. Embarrassed students in front of their classmates. Sadly, not one positive thing to say about her.

she just wants her students to like her. she's an awesome woman who's done a lot of cool things in her life. ask her abt uruguay (her country)and she'll love you! her sense of humor is precious. if you're going to be an ignorant prick i could see why she wouldn't like you. the person who called her small minded obviously doesnt know what that means

It really hurts me to see these comments. Faccini is a wonderful lady who truly cares about her students, it just sucks that most ppl don't give two you-know-whats about foreign language and aren't willing to put any time into an actually useful subject. She is very approachable, just take the time to get to know her. I love her sense of humor!

Prof Faccini is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She is unprofessional, rude, incomprehensible and unfair. She accused me of plagiarism on an opinion paper and held my being hospitalized against me because I missed too many classes. I felt targeted by her mood swings and went from being an AP Spanish student to almost failing her class.
