Fantastic, brilliant man! He genuinely tries to get you into laboratory experience and cares about how much you retain the information. Available outside of class time for extra help, and gives amazing lectures, just goes a little fast when he gets really excited. STUDY his material because you'll need it. Especially the lectures he loves.

Best Professor at UNH. He really cares about his students and goes out of his way to help them. He's the nicest guy ever. If you ever have the opportunity to take a class with him I highly recommend it.

Awesome teacher, wicked tough class packed with info. The best way to study for this class is to review each lecture within 1 day, he posts audio recordings of the lecture online.I took the hard route and literally had no life for 10 days prior each exam because I was in the library 6 hours a day

Dr. Walker is hands-down my favorite professor at UNH. I also had him for BIOL 411. His lectures are presented as "stories" and students are encouraged to be able to "tell the story" for the exam. He is a clear, concise and fairly organized lecturer. If you ever have any questions at all, he'll be more than happy to go over an entire lecture again.

Dr. Walker is THE MAN! He literally was my favorite professor all term... he is very helpful, extremely kind, and has such a good heart. His tropical themed shirts were just the cherry on top to his enthusiasm about biology. It was truly a pleasure.

Professor Walker was a great professor. He was extremely helpful and understanding if you show him how hard you try. Put in the effort and you will do fine. Difficult material for me but interesting. Completely lecture with his drawings and random words on the board in messy writing made it difficult to follow at times.

Chuck was an amazing professor. He taught the material so well and did an awesome job at making his lectures easy to follow and easy to take notes to by using the board and occasionally videos. His exams are easy if you study and if you go to class, which honestly is a must bc exams questions are completely taken from his lectures. Loved him!

Chuck is one of the best professors ever. The material is dense, but he does a great job going over it so you can understand it. Study the lectures and attend every lecture and you'll succeed. His tests aren't too bad as long as you study! He's so nice and easy to approach as well, I look forward to having him again

Likes the subject, and makes class interesting. Rambles and writing notes in the class is hard b/c he draws pictures only. Exams are fair and he is good at working with you if you show an effort. Passing is easy if you try.

By far the best biology teacher i have ever come to know. During my semester of taking his course i learned more biology then in the two years of bio i took in high school. His clarity is amazing and the notes he posts in class are very well put, just make sure to sit in front of class as well as look at the notes online to do well in this course.

Dr. Walker is absolutely amazing and definitely my favorite professor so far. He is so dedicated to having students learn the material, he'll go over it as many times as you need. Go to his office hours if you need help- you'll leave understanding everything you previously didn't. Walker is the ONLY person I would take for BIOL 411.

Prof. Walker is the best! He really loves what he teaches and it makes class a lot more interesting. He talks really quietly, which makes him hard to hear at times but he is a good teacher. Just make sure you go to class because his tests are based entirely on lecture, and though they are kind of hard, they are pretty fair.
