Very cool professor. Tests aren't hard and you can really tell he enjoys teaching. Homework is online EVERY day of the week (1-5 assignments a day) which seems heavy but as he says its good to practice every day. He also talks about German culture and you see a German movie halfway into the semester. If you want to learn German, def take this guy.

Comment:

Great guy. I enjoyed going to his class every night, even though it was 6:30-9pm. I rarely did the workbook pages and ended up with an A for German I and a B for German II, but if you have trouble with language, you really should do them. Quiz every week, but I never studied aside from the homework. Two exams that I did need to study for.

It was an awesome experience having Professor Stevens as my German teacher!He's very knowledgeable and friendly.Very helpful and he's always willing to work with you.German is not the easiest of the languages to learn,but he made the class very enjoyable and he's always willing to give you extra help if you need it.Loved this class!!

Learning German is not easy, but his humour and easy-going style makes it fun. The material is covered at a reasonable pace, and he explains it well. If you want to learn German, he's the man.

Funny. Smart as Hell. Can be tough to grasp the material at first, but that's mostly due to the crummy textbook he uses. He's always willing to help. Never pushy. Highly reccomend this professor.

Very intelligent, friendly, and fair teacher. I highly recommend him. He is fun to listen to and learn from - and an expert in his field. Great teacher!
