She cares a TON for all of her students, but her unclear grading criteria and general disrespect makes the class hard to enjoy. Doesn't allow for class discussions and often starts a project without explaining what the unit/ subject of the project is. Overall a confusing and disappointing course from a caring and kind person.

She's truly amazing! Like other reviews, she does want everyone to get an Anom her class. Very passionate about the material and caring about her class. Very available after class hours as she goes out of her way to help you. Demands a lot of work but very easy grader if you do your work, one of my favorite professors at Denison!

She's VERY nice and helpful. She definitely cares about her students. All the same, though, she definitely has her own opinions and you're not going to change them - even if it's on grading that's quite obviously unfair. Really, you don't HAVE to do most of the readings....

One of the worst classes i've ever taken. Got a decent grade doing sketches five minutes before class. Has her own opinions and sticks to them--will never participate in discussion in class, only ignores other opinions. Awful.

The BEST professor ever, I took Costume History just because I thought it would be easy - but she turned me onto an aspect of theatre that I truly love and wanted to explore in an educational context. I will never forget you Cindi!
