Dan is a great guy. I have had a few classes with him and he is clear... funny at times... but I slept through some of his classes (stats and career sem) but it is not because of him. He grades a lot easier than Kari... he is just a neat guy. I think he is pretty awesome. I don't have much outside of class experience with him, but one time I was on my way to his house when my car brokedown and I called him... he is real nice. I look forward to getting to know him better. He knows his stuff... I like Dan! :)

Dan was one of my favs! (next to his wife:)He actually has some brains as opposed to other NCU profs and is humble in his teachings! I also love how he and Kari are so open and allow us to learn from their interactions as a real family in this century.

Dan is an amazing professor. NCU should be honored to have him. Not too difficult unless you aren't pulling your weight. Emphasizes the importance of scientific thought and reasoning...both of which unfortunately aren't emphasized enough around NCU. Try going to China with him...oh i've got stories!!

This is one amazing man. He knows the subject well and presents it in a very manageable way. He grades a bit easier than his wife...and I'm glad he only took a part time sabbatical because we NEED him!
