Professor Powers is the best professor I've had. She cares about her students and as long as you pay attention in class you should be able to pass the exams. I love how she connected the class material to her personal class. She's very understanding if something is going on in your life and it's impacting your academic life. You just have to talk.

Professor Powers is amazing. She truly wants the best for all her students and will answer all questions to the topic at hand. After taking her class, it has persuaded me to go to Law School. Attend every class, take good notes, and pay attention. If you do those 3 things, then you are guaranteed an A.

ONE OF THE BEST BUSINESS LAW TEACHERS YOU WILL EVER TAKE! she's a really great teacher and is very persistent. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY! if you take notes and ask questions, you will pass. The exams are not hard. They are purely based off of what she goes over in class. Study and you will do great!

Professor Powers is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Take notes because you will need them to pass the exams. On the tests there will be a lots vocabularies so be sure to write them down when she's explaining. Attendance is mandatory. Overall, I would take her class again if I could. She knows the material well and although is difficult she takes her time explaining everything throughly.She really cares about her students and she really wants you to learn and perhaps apply what you learned in your everyday life. Professor Powers is a great and amazing professor. She makes business law very interesting. She has very positive and friendly attitude toward students. The material is difficult, but she makes it very easy to learn: you only have to attend all lectures, study and memorize materials she explains in class. I highly recommend taking class with her.

I took this class in Spring'12 and professor powers is awesome! She explains everything in simple english and uses real life examples so you could understand better.You don't really need the textbook in class but you do need it for the hw, which is doing outlines for each chapter. Exams are clear and is on exactly what she says.I def recommend her!
