He's an extremely entertaining professor, and you can tell he's passionate about the subject. I occasionally run into him at the gym, and he's a real nice guy - easy to talk to. His tests are appropriately-challenging, but his lectures prepare you for them. Also, there was only a handful of times that he lectured for the entire 50 minutes.

Boyd was an all-around awesome guy who knows what he's talking about but can also say it in a way that everyone can understand. He outlines very clearly what to expect on a test, and grading was VERY fair. Final exam is EASY. Plus, for a guy in his late 30s/early 40s, he's not bad to look at, either.
