Comment:

Still one of my favorite professors of all time. He pushed me hard but I emerged with significant knowledge in intnl politics and helped us win the MW Model UN championship. In the process I also doubled my vocabulary! He didn't tolerate slugs and rewarded hard work.

Do your reading- at least glance over it! Listen in class, maintain attendance, and you'll do fine. He has a passion for what he's teaching- as to whoever stated "liberal ideology", I am conservative and got an A. Professor Frolick is very well-informed and adept at communicating his theories. However, if you are not a liberal and do not agree with his positions your grades will suffer. It is petty of him to grade students on their ideas in addition to the quality of their work.

I was nervous about taking his classes at first because of all the negative buzz around campus, but I thought he was extremely informative, and a Professor i can identify with. Sometimes he might be a little grumpy, but just ignore it. Make sure you read and discuss in class, if you don't you will sound like an idiot, and he will say it.

Frolick is the kind of prof that'll make you think new about stuff, but he is very very intimidating, and if one day you dont do your reading, he will yell and seriously chew you out in front of everybody! However, sometimes you can see a soft side of him underneath his shell of meanness...

Frolick always acted like he was too busy. He also looked down upon the students but he loved them. A sense of condensension existed. He was interested but narrow minded. He could motivate students in political science though.

I had him in my freshman just for one class and now that i graduated, he is the one i'll remember most visually :). His classes are hard, he will make sure you can think with your own head. I'm not very into politics and world conspiracies, but if I were, I'd love to have more of his classes.

He knows his topic, but I didn't like his attitude in the class. He made me feel afraid of him, because I didn't know what to expect sometimes from him. He didn't really help me much on any of the papers. Both exams are just 3 essay questions.
