VERY nice guy. Very outdated material. LOTS of busy work. Syllabus and Tests had many typos and misdated assignments. Everything graded by TAs. Again, a nice guy, but hardly worth the almost $1000 this class cost me!

This is the best class I have ever taken at ISU. We learned so much about statistics, testing and researh. It is too back there are not more professors like Dr. GIlman.

I wasted my time and money on this class. We never used the textbooks and you can't sell them back. If you take this class, don't buy the books unless you find out you actually need them. Dr. Gilman hardly taught anything and NEVER graded a thing. His assistant seemed to do everything for him. He seemed clueless most of the time.

The class is boring. He gets frustrated if not a lot of people show up. My advice? Show up and cruise the internet. Don't bother buying the textbook. I never used it. The bright side? He is a very nice man. If you need help, he is always willing.

This class is one of the worst classes I have ever taken. I don't really think we are learning anything of substance in this class. He talks very quietly. He moves very fast. This class is supposed to be about learning something and it seems like he assumes that we already know everything, because he doesn't make sure everyone is caught up.

Dr. Gilman is a GREAT professor. He has highly influenced my professional decisions and is very available for guidance. Everyone should take his classes if they are willing to work hard and learn from a very well-rounded professor. He sets the bar high, but is the first to pat you on the back for a job well done. Dr. G ROCKS!! :-)

Really liked the class, but he seemed like he was learning along with us. If it hadn't been for his TA, I would have been lost. I did learn quite a bit, and the class was really easy. I did learn how to do power point presentations.
