Just want to say I had a really bad semester and had a lot of bad things happen to me. Prof Miller really helped me though. She met with me and worked with me to catch up and understand some stuff. She was really nice. Not all my profs were that way. SHes a good teacher.

Comment:

I took Intercultural Comm online from this professor and I really liked the class. It wasn't the easiest class i've taken but I got a lot out of it. If you take it, just stick with it! The prof is very nice and willing to work with you, but you've gotta ask.

This ended up being my favorite class last semester. The professor was so nice and I got to be good friends with everyone. Don't be scared to take the class! This professor will help you through it.

I was very scared about public speaking but my teacher really made me comfortable in class and I ended up learning alot. I would recommend this class and teacher.

Prof. Miller was fair, responsive, and the class was very interesting. It isn't the easiest class I've ever taken, but it was one of my favorites. I learned a lot. Prof Miller responded quickly when I had a question. Class was laid out well and was easy to navigate for an online class.

Very easy to get ahead. I would recommend doing all of the quizzes as soon as possible, easiest way to lighten the load! The load starts out kind of heavy but drops off very quickly. Only meet 4 times a semester. Really liked her class and she responds to emails and questions very quickly! Highly recommend!

Professor Miller was always understanding and will do anything to help with you feeling comfortable! I really suggest her online course, you meet 4 times a semester. To supplement lecture you're assigned a chapter to read in the book, then you have quizzes. Really easy if you do your reading! Class sizes are small aswell.

Great teacher. She is relaxed on her grading as long as you give an honest try during your speeches. If you come in the class unprepared and trying to wing it, you will only get by with a C. Several speeches and they get easier the more you do them. She understands that most people are not comfortable talking in front of strangers.

Intercul Comm- This class was ok. The test are hard without any study guides or multiple attempts. The final exam was over 8 chapters (150 minutes timed), without knowing what to study (other than power points). The online discussions were interesting. Take this class if you are extremely interested in cultures. There are research 2 papers as well.

Very Difficult class especially in the summer and in 4 weeks! So much to cram in 2-3 quizzes a week plus outline and 5-8 minute speech. LOTS of WORK but if you do it you will succeed and she is a nice person and teacher. NOT AN EASY A at all!But very possible with hard work!

Professor Miller is the best! I took the online class and it was a great! She is super organized and really does anything to help you. The quizzes are annoying but after the first or second speech it's way easier. You only give 4 speeches and as long as you follow the outline, you'll do fine. Definitely recommend her class to anyone!

i took the 25 days online class the quizes are annoying they were each week about 4 to 5 quizes and and i didnot find her clear when she ansewerd my questions and while you doing the presention she look at you with a look does not make you comfortable. but she is organized. not an easy public speaking class if you looking for it.

Some of the students thought she was pretty moody at times, but I didn't have any problems with her. I thought she was friendly and helpful. The class was very organized, so you always knew what was going to be on the exams. Overall, good instructor!

Mean? she is like such a nice person. she is a really positive person. I was scared to take public speaking so I took interpersonal communicate but she got me feeling that this is no reason to be scared.. she makes the room mood really relaxed! Take her, she is SUCH a good teacher.
