Quizzes: She writes these herself. I found them to be very fair. Office Hours: She has two office hours a week and adds extra the week of an exam. Our final was on a Monday and she came in on a Sunday to hold office hrs. HW is online. Exams are hard. They are 12 questions MC. They are written by a new course coordinator.

She's the sweetest lady. Honestly cares about making all of her students succeed. Holds TONS of office hours for anyone who has a question. She's all business, but is nice at the same time. My grade is due to the fact that the course coordinator gives multiple choice exams that PhD math students don't get 100's on.

Devi was one of the most helpful professors I've ever had. I came into this class genuinely fearing failing calc. She explained everything very thoroughly. She held office hours before and after every single class. She went out of her way to hold special review sessions. She doesn't make you feel stupid for not 'getting' things. TAKE HER FOR 223!!

Devi Nichols is an outstanding TA, covering all information in extreme depth and offering many office hours, and additional exam prep in order to help you succeed. My grade is due to the course coordinator's impossible exams, but I did well in the in-class portion.

Dr. Nichols is the best calculus teacher I have ever had. She is extremely friendly and really wants us all to succeed. High school calculus was extremely hard for me, but now I am breezing through this class thanks to her.

I'm not sure how she is a course instructor, my she has awful teaching assistants and everything about this course was unorganized. I would do well on online hw, in class quizes, studied the material and still did poorly on exams-which were only 12 questions. Worse course I have taken at Purdue.
