College math is very difficult but Professor Halakda made it every understandable and she gets not everyone is a math major. Easy A but I was just lazy so I got a B.

Comment:

Professor Halaka is a great professor! She is very kind when it comes to grading tests. She gives as many points as she possibly can even just for trying. She gives out a little homework everyday and puts a Sticker on your notebook every Friday that she glances at your homework. By the end of the semester you should have 12 stickers and up.

I wish she taught higher levels because she was so wonderful. She was kind and she taught you exactly what you needed to pass. She was very sweet. Copy what's on the board, study it, and you'll succeed.

I've never had a good grade in math until I took math 131 with this professor. She's awesome and chill. She gave my class 30 min breaks and let us out of class early all the time. She understands that we have lives and other classes, unlike other professors who want you to eat,sleep. and breathe their material. Take her if you want to pass.

She is so sweet and nice. Her lectures are understandable, I recommend sitting in the front to hear her better. She gives a 20 minute break and the tests are about 20 or 30 questions. Was really glad that I took this class.

HEAR ME OUT !!! EASIEST CLASS EVERRRDDDDD All she grades are test and homework and I believe attendance too. She gives a 20mins break in the middle of the class and if you know around what time that is you could even come until the end of the break and she wont trip, you got homework everyday but its easy and could be done with Photomath

Very sweet lady! I took her during the 6-week winter semester and there was no sweat. I've never passed a math course with an A so I'm sure any of you can pass her course. She gives a majority of grading weight to the tests... However, don't be worried the most you'll see is 20 questions. She truly wants you to learn.

Good professor. She is not strict on attendance so many people take advantage and miss for weeks. As long as you show up, pay attention, and do the homework youll pass this class easily.

The best math professor I have ever (I retook this class THREE TIMES). She truly cares about you and wants you to learn. Such a sweet little lady who has all the brains to help you succeed. I wish I could take her for math 131 and stats. You're a Gem professor! thanks :)

Halaka was a very easy A. I honestly don't know how I passed when all I did was sleep (7am classes am I right?) As long as you do all the homework her class is fairly easy. She always goes over homework and answers any questions we have. The only thing I would say is bad is she doesn't use canvas so you don't know your grade till the end.

Incredibly kind, wants you to succeed. Gives partial credit for attempted questions on exams and theyre easy if you went to class. Has an accent but you get used to it,she will go over a problem as many times as you need and will help in any part. She takes a half hour break in the middle of class, I would prefer to get out early but its still nice

Prof. Halaka is a very caring person and wants you to do well. She takes the time to explain things step by step. Yes, she has an accent but it's not bad - Although she speaks softly so it's hard to hear her sometimes - sit towards the front. She drops your lowest test score and final is a comprehensive test worth 30% of your grade.

She's honestly so pure and wants the best for everyone. The tests are so easy. You get points for trying even if that means just writing down the problem. She's really sweet and you should take her she saved my gpa it was definitely a class I didn't have to worry about.

She's an amazing professor. Since it's a 7 am class, I would just copy the examples and sleep. SUPER EASY A. She gives a 20 min. break so you can get more sleep in then too, or do homework, whatever you want. Tests are only 10 questions and her grading is very easy.

As some of the reviews say, she does have a heavy accent but that doesn't stop her from teaching. You get used to her accent. I took her for Math 402 PreAlgebra and I got an A. She gives little homework, her tests are short and easy. She will definitely take the time to go over any problem that you don't understand. I will gladly take her class.

Comment:

First off, yes she has an accent that's a bit strong, but you get used to it after the first class. Really nice and helpful, moves along at a decent pace, but if students need her to slow down and go over stuff she's happy to do so. She constantly reminded us of upcoming tests and what will be on the test to help us prepare; great teacher.

Professor Halaka is a very nice lady that really cares about your performance. I took her class for 402 and 125 because she was just that good. Beware, she does have a pretty strong accent; but it isn't that hard to understand. Make sure to attend all lectures 'cause she does go over vital info. Take good notes and STUDY! An easy A class for sure.

Beware, professor H does have a strong accent, but I'm sure you all will get used to it over time. Overall she's a sweet professor who truly cares for her students. She gives pretty straight forward quizzes, and her final isn't hard at all if you STUDY! Minimum homework everyday, and you don't even need to buy the book. A MUST TAKE CLASS!!!
