Comment:

Dr. Doh is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He takes a little to warm up to as he is fairly abrasive, but it makes his class more interesting and easier to not fall asleep in. He makes you work for your grade, but because he wants you to learn. He is there to help you learn and will do whatever he can to do so. You'll miss him after class

Comment:

This man is a dedicated teacher who will do everything to help a serious student. He makes you see the value of being educated. He looks stern but has a good heart and will attend to you anywhere, anytime. I miss his classes with the funny examples he uses to illustrate his point.

Comment:

Loved him! He's abrasive, but hilarious. He's also a tough grader so don't take his class if you're looking for an easy A. You have to earn it. He lectures about life lessons more than English, but he connects them to the essay subjects to help you understand what he's looking for in your work. Class participation and attendance are required.

Dr. Doh is a great professor, he wants you to learn so if you are here for an Easy A this is not the class. He is super funny so it brings less awkwardness in the class, gives reasonable amount of essays. Complete writing center hours or you will not pass, Attendance is mandatory, listen carefully. READ THE SYLLABUS THOROUGHLY!! Enjoy the class

Comment:

Dr. Doh is a funny and nice guy but will be strict if you don't come to class with your work done or if you don't try your best in your writing. He's a tough grader but will give you feedback on graded assignments. He talks a lot about life lessons and tries to know his students on a personal level. He felt more like a friend than a professor.

Has a hard time staying on topic. Spends most of the time acting as an entertainer/motivational speaker imbibed with religious jumbo. Refuses, absolutely refuses, to acknowledge "they" as a pronoun denoting an unspecified gender or amount of people even though Merriam-Webster has agreed on this change. Hard grader, but didn't learn much.

Dr. Doh is a very funny person and is easy to talk to. Even though he may be funny and tells lots of jokes, he is strict when it comes to grading papers. He would honestly tell you your paper sucks if he doesn't like it, but overall he is a good teacher and his teaching is very fun and enjoyable.

Dr. Doh, while being a funny and nice person, was not a good teacher in my opinion. He would often times during his lectures being up uncomfortable subjects such as religion. He would even tell certain students to read the Bible and go to church everyday. He would also joke about wanting multiple brides to try and make the class more enjoyable.

Awesome professor! Made class so interesting. He's loud and will call on you, whether you like it or not. Be prepared to be forced out of your shell!

If I could take every English course with this prof I would in an instant. Doh will often break away from a lecture every 10 or so minutes to tell a funny story or pick on the class in humor. He is incredibly funny and makes class learning enjoyable. He is a very tough grader however he grades based on your personal progress, not his standards.

Dr. DoH is absolutely amazing! He makes learning easy! We use the text book regularly and He does give essays but he explains how to write during his lectures! He makes his class fun by bringing humor and positivity to his class! He makes himself accessible outside of the class and takes attendance regularly. I would take this class again

He should be a public speaker than a teacher. He has strong opinions toward others countries. He tells us his personal life a lot. He likes to give his student nicknames and may make fun of the student. He also use swear words. The literature summary he taught us in class I can find it online and it was exactly the same, I mean every single words!

Dr. Doh is the most entertaining teach I've ever had. He is incredibly abrasive, but it works so well for him that it doesn't bother anyone. He gets to know many of his students personally, and makes jokes at their expense.(which some people might read as a bad thing, but it's amazing.) Threatened to "murder" me for forgetting an assignment, 10/10.

He seems intimidating in the beginning but once class starts hes very friendly and easy to talk to and ask questions. He has a different teaching style so if you prefer the formal lecture etc dont recommend taking this class but if you want a more relatable lecture this is perfect I personally loved his class

Love this man!! Wish I could take more classes with him. Every class was spent laughing as well as learning about composition, life, the world, ourselves, and each other. When I run into classmates we always say how much we miss our class. Money and time well spent. Put in the time and you will get the grade.

He is an opinionated man who welcomes people who challenge him. This teacher WILL TEACH YOU ABOUT LIFE and more importantly grammar. He loves talking about the differences between men, and women he has a degree in Gender studies. Show that you're a serious student because you are not just a number! This man tells it like it is; for what he wants.

I took his class as a summer class. He feels more like a father figure then an actual teacher, by which I mean you can joke around with him, but you would hate to disappoint him. He is a tough grader on his papers, but he takes your participation in the class into account of your final grade. He jokes around a lot to keep everyone's attention.

Comment:

Dr. Doh is an amazing teacher! There is never a dull moment in class, he tells a lot of stories, but what most people do not realize is he is teaching you how to write your paper by the story he is telling. If you try in his class you will do well, he grades hard but that is what helped me learn. I also took English 90 with him. grade A
