Prof Hague is a great instructor whose respectful and understanding demeanor makes you like the class even more. He really wants us as first year students to succeed, and gives us opportunities to practice writing skills. In this LSP, he assigns short reflection essays every week. Drops your lowest grade.

Very intelligent and passionate about his work. I had him for my LSP class. You have a decent amount of papers to write but he gives great detailed feedback on what to improve. If you show up and put good amount of time into his assignments you'll do great! I loved him, great prof.

Lectures tend to be long but interesting. The class itself is somewhat obscure. Pop-quizzes are difficult and a significant portion of your grade. Get ready to read, seriously. You will have 50 pages of reading each week and a handful of novels to read and write essays on as well. A lot of work for a 100 level class.

Such a cool teacher. The content is somewhat obscure, but definitely not a hard class if you do the readings and are prepared for his announced quizzes. Drops lowest quiz score.

Professor Hague was great. This was the first Geography class I've taken and he made it very interesting and I want to take more of his classes. My class was 3 hours long and he made it engaging the whole time. He is funny and respects his students. 10/10 would recommend :)

Friendly guy. Lectures are long. Readings are long. Pop quizzes are somewhat difficult and worth a significant portion of your grade.

Comment:
His lectures are so long and so boring. He assigns a lot of reading for a 100 level course and his pop quizzes are about the smallest details from the reading. Then he complains that students didn't do well. He's a very arrogant professor and he doesn't deserve to be.

You will create the most time wasting excel spreadsheet on pilsen that is unbelievably stupid. This will take you a minimum of eight hours, on top of your weekly papers that are due. Then when you think its finally over, you will create graphs for this spreadsheet, which takes another 5 hours. You will then write an 8 to 10 page paper. DO NOT TAKE.

It's easy to do well in this class if you read the syllabus, do the readings, and pay attention in class. Prof. Hague provokes thought and discussion, and is always available for appointments outside of class. Great class, great professor!

Not very clear with assignment goals, and has way too high expectations for 100 level class.

No textbook cost was nice and this is one of the best teachers I have had at Depaul. He is anything but charming, but you will learn all about this subject and the way he structures the class forces you to do so. Certainly not an easy class but one worth taking, great professor.

This guy can be an ass at times. Makes you print out 30+ pages of reading a week yourself, and makes an example of you in front of the whole class if you can't afford it. Smart guy who knows what he's talking about. Although, I'm not sure if I understand the point of this class and how it relates to Geography.

Dr. Hague was awesome. He obviously knows a lot about what he is teaching and wants everyone else to understand. If you actually want to learn and still get a good grade, he is the man
