He is so smart that he fails to explain concepts well and assumes the class understands immediately during lecture.

Comment:
This class was super rough for all involved it seemed the only people who did well were those who'd already seen the material. He is a super cool person but not necessarily a great teacher. He doesn't explain concepts very well or emphasize the material he will test or give you any idea what will be on it. Made me hate math

Ezra is a great calculus professor. His sense of humor make learning a difficult subject enjoyable, and his teaching methods are clear nearly all of the time. I would recommend Ezra highly when considering taking a calculus course at the U. He is very approachable outside of class, and is very willing to help you understand materal. EZRA ROCKS!

Awesome Prof. he is willwing to sit and work with any students on any problems they are having. Excellent empathy and relation to his students. Yes the LOTR and Harry Potter relations really are enjoyable. Don't hesitate to ask, cause he will not hold your hand through the class, so ask questions.

He makes calculus so much fun by relating it to characters that we wouldn't think have anything to do with differential or integral (e.g. Harry Potter and LOTR). His notes are very clear and can be easily followed. Laughter is not a rare thing in his lecture session.

He is very easy to understand, and follows the book exactly. He tries to make it interesting by relating the material to things we may find funny (Harry Potter, for example). He's funnier than he tries to be, and teaches very well. Tests are kinda hard
