SHE IS GREAT. Made the class enjoyable with her humor. Had great ice breaker exercises for the class. 2 speeches w/ outlines & visual aids. 1 group speech. No test or quizzes. Long journal assignments. She remembered everyone's name which made the atmosphere more comfortable.

Shes an amazing professor! Very sarcastic but very hilarious! Never went a class without laughing! There are three speeches : 1 persuasive, 1 informative, and 1 group. Theres is also 2 journals that are long but you have more than enough time to finish it! Overall amazing professor! Ill miss her!!

Amazing professor. She does say things she probably shouldn't, but if you have a sense of humor, she is hysterical beyond belief. Somewhat difficult grader. Three speeches, and two very long journals assignments (Roughly 10-15 pages each. Proofread over and over if you want an A!) Don't miss class! She is not an easy A, but the class is great!

She sometimes says things she shouldn't but for the most part, she's funny. However, at the end of class you will realize that you didn't learn very much. It is SUCH a fun class though. You better proof read your journals 4 times though. She takes off for minor mistakes. I went down a whole letter grade for some missing commas.

She's an honest, entertaining and funny professor. You don't do much work in class but please do her journals. They can be tricky. You do two presentations and one group project. They're not that hard. I'd take her again.

show up to class.. counts absences. Group presentation 30 minutes..and 2 journals due.. each about 10-15 pages long. She's a great teacher and pretty funny. Showing up and talking will help u stay on her good side. I never really missed a class because i loved going. no real work. don't buy book, borrow from someone 2 weeks b4 journals are do.

This professor cares more about trying to force her personal political views down our throats then teaching her subject, she's just an old faded angry hippy with a mean attitude. She is worse than a Jesus Freak or a Harry Krishna but with politics. A Democratic Fanatic and I didn't sign up to hear about that in a class. I don't recommend.

Freda is brutaly honest! The journals are no joke- please take my advice: due them atleast 1 week before it's due. I hated the group presentation b/c i hated my group. But it was a learning experience. Freda will help you all u have to do is ask. Participation will boost your grade. I got a B+, but i worked very hard for it.

Freda was my advisor and teacher. One the best instructors I've ever had. She provided real samples and resources for doing PR work. I still use her models today (graduated 1994). No BS, very up front and truthful. As with any class, you get out of it what you put into it. Just try and you'll do well and learn real life skills.

Awesome teacher, you never stay the whole time and never have homework. The only homework you will have is 2 journal papers due at the end of each break. She's a really laid back professor and is very funny. Just go to every class and you will get a good grade. Take her!!

Only lazy people can write something bad about such a knowledgeable person! In my actual international PR carreer, I use everything Remmers has taught me. Students who can't take her straightfowardness, should not study PR! If you don't like her, change major because her teaching is useful.
