Comment:

Elkins is one of the toughest teachers at SOCC, but I have learned more in his class than any other. As long as you work hard and are put in the time, this class will prepare you greatly for future Math classes. I took 111 and 112 with him and now I'm signed up for Statistics. This is my first year and I'm not even a math major! GREAT TEACHER! :D

Elkins does nothing to teach students in his class. The college might as well hired the text book to sit in his desk. He was usless and sat around didn't talk with students or make an attempt to teach. I don't know how well he taught higher math classes, however in my math he only offered one problem solving technique.Elkins SUCKS! Try doing ur job

One of the very worst teachers I have ever had. Made everything harder than it should be, and was even more confusing when he was asked in a one on one setting. Bad teacher, boring class, and just terrible overall quality.

THIS MAN IS VERY METICULOUS. THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS HE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK AT, HE JUST PUTS A CHECK AT THE TOP. THE WORDING ON TESTS IS RIDICULOUS. ALL HE TALKS ABOUT IS WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE LEARNED IN MTH 90, WELL SORRY BUT SOME PEOPLE TAKE HIGHER MATH CLASSES IN HIGH SCHOOL!
