This man is the most hilarious teacher I've ever had. He's witty and is a very loquacious story teller. His humor is dry, so if you're not into that, you might find him to be particularly boring. He makes law class easy in my opinion because he often leaves you with many examples and takes his time with the material. I wish I could have him again.

By far the best teacher in the whole legal department. You learn a tremendous amount from him - practically and legally. One of the best professors I have ever had, including undergrad and grad school. Besides all that he has a wicked since of humor.

I just transferred to a California University. Competing with equivalent to L1 law, from Evan's classes. Got A+ on my memo, Evan's teaching gave me a solid background, knew my stuff! I cry from missing this guy's lectures. The Law school lecturer was similar, but I would never have got to this level without Evans.

This professor is absolutely wonderful! You really don't even need the text, his lectures are so thorough and so interesting. He really knows his stuff, but more, is extremely talented in teaching his knowledge as a Lawyer. He is so helpful to all, even taking time to help foreign students grasp English, and always has time to meet with you. A++++

I am now at a different university, different state, with Law School professors. I miss Evans so much. Don't diss him, he won't set you right, other students will. If you have a genuine need he will go out of his way to help, but if you make up excuses for non-attendance- forget it! He knows his class, who is studying/cheating/helping etc.

All the eager-eyed students attend his lectures. Sets the bar high and makes you want surpass it. Witty, dry humor. Uses text books,law books/systems,documents, anecdotal and factual evidence, you'll be tested on knowing the difference and how to apply that knowledge! You will learn more than just how to pass the exams.

Great professor - MUST ATTEND. His class consists of note taking, and some reading (Which as long as you take clear notes and pay attention you don't usually need to worry about.) No homework - just tests. Definitely study because there's a lot to learn. I'll be taking BUS Law 2 with him this fall as well.

Evans is probably the best teacher at SCCC. As long as you take solid notes, and pay attention in class, you will pass no problem. He's always available for help and is crystal clear in class. As a plus, he is damn funny as well. Very dry humor, but once you catch on, you're in for a good laugh.

Anything on the board or a handout expect to see on a test. Listen, take good notes you will do well. Listen, take good notes and be able to write in complete sentences and you will do extremely well. BTW - the best teacher you will ever have. I can't believe he teaches at a community college.

Evans was an amazing teacher. He really got me interested in the legal world, and now I'm heading to law school. His sense of humor is extremely dry, but he can be hilarious once you figure him out. Pay attention and go to class and you will pass no problem. Loved his class!

Great teacher with a dry sense of humor. Once you figure out if he is being serious or joking about a topic you will understand and enjoy the class. Very intelligent man with a skillful knowledge of the law. Attendance is a absolute must since tests are mostly lecture and note based!!!

Funny guy! Lecture class so attendance is very important & good note taking slao will help you out. First impression I was like I"M GOING TO HATE THIS CLASS but after you figure out his sense of humor & you show you care about the class, it will be a great experience!
