Comment:

Do not take this class with him! He is a know it all kind of guy who will always be right. You will always be wrong. Homework is graded by him generating 3 random problems and that is your grade for homework. Only test is midterm and final so if you do bad, you are doomed. He pretends to be helpful but I promise you, you will not learn a thing.

Comment:

Dr. Crow is a very unique teacher. He has a dry sense of humor that is difficult to pick up on, but quite pleasant once you get it. The class itself is difficult due to the nature of stats, but manageable with some extra help which he readily provides. He did (seemingly) arbitrarily change to a hybrid class at the start of the semester.

Dr. Crow is WONDERFUL. He made this class so fun and left me eager to come back the next class period. Dr. Crow's approach to this class was unique in the sense that from the first day he told us that this class was just to be a basis and to gain an understanding and background in the subject rather than being able to know everything about it

I enjoyed his class. I didn't think it was that hard of a class and I took him for stats. Just do your homework that is like 2 problems do every week and do your labs which you are given 2 weeks to do and class time.

Although stats is not the easiest class, he made the course very manageable. There's weekly checkpoints that you have to do online, as well as homework you have to turn in during class. If you keep up with the reading online and stay focused, you'll get an A. He will clarify anything you ask him to and his sarcastic attitude is refreshing.

Calc III is a hard subject and he moves at a fast pace. You've gotta keep up with homework but he is available for questions by office or email. Goes off on funny tangents sometimes and prays before every class. Tries to tie concepts to real world applications too.

Professor Crow is a sweet man! The class is a little harder, we are so used to thinking in the box, this gets us thinking outside of it. if you read the chapter before the class, you will know whats going on and be the star of your little group. He is extremely helpful, and if you take him in the spring, he may even give you some icecream!

Comment:

Dr. Crowe is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I would even be willing to say the best I've ever had. His class is by no means easy and you have to work for your grade, but he is very fair, and if you've worked hard he will give you the benefit of the doubt on your final grade. He made me decide to pick up a math minor.

I took his Stats class. Material was tough, but he made it bearable. Has a great sense of humor, cares about his students, takes time to pray and will answer any questions you have, even if they arent related to math. Also gave us M&Ms to help us learn about stats! Id take any class of his! He has sweet glasses too.

Calc III at 8:30 MWF, not fun. But Crow manages to both keep your attention and make you learn. He interjects parenting tidbits almost everyday which kept the whole class rolling on the floor laughing almost every class period. He's pretty tough, but he wants you to learn. Take him if you want to learn, not if you want to skim past the class.

Great guy. Sooo funny and very helpful. You can tell he really has a heart for students. Best math teacher ever, and I hate math! Tests are way easier than you'd think...get a copy from the previous year, they all have more or less the same Q's but with different numbers.
