Really great lectures. Uses the textbook for homework problems. Test questions aren't too different from homework and class examples. I recommend going to his test review sessions outside the class.

Comment:

For Solids he was an amazing instructor, very very clear lectures with an awesome teaching style. Always willing to help you understand anything, even add review sessions before tests if the class does not understand some material. Honestly wish I could take him for all of my classes.

For computational methods, his teaching style is horrible. We have home works every week on Matlab coding that he hasn't taught, but sometimes he teaches it after you spend hours trying to finish the homework and turn it in. I would avoid taking him for computational methods of possible.

Took solids with him. It was a hard class but not because of him. At the time, he was the only professor who taught solids who was worth a crap. He's def. the best choice for solids as far as I know. all the material is hard, very time consuming class. he is sometimes entertaining because he is bald and looks like a big brownie

Great teacher. His homework can be very overwhelming and ridiculous at times, but if you do them and try to understand them, his tests are a breeze. I would definitely take his class again if I could. His sense of humor is very subtle, but all around a great gut/teacher. Wants his students to pass and helps out any way he can to do that! A+++

He isn't that bad of a teacher. I learned alot from that class and actually enjoyed it. He has a crude sense of humor; he once told someone they could do it another way when they repeat the course. I found it funny, haha. He knows the subject. Very helpful and is willing to meet outside of class to help students.

I don't recommend his class. He will let his TA attend his class instead of himself. TA was not bad, however was not the person who gives grade. Give the students the time that he could be there, however never shows up. If one thing he catches you which is unpleasant, don't expect you can get a good grade.

The most unfair teacher I have ever had. Makes subject intentionally hard. Takes pleasure by making students suffer. Judges people by face and very unprofessional. Unfortunately he is the graduate coordinator of ME Dept. Got to remove him...not fit for teaching

Fairness: Out of Question. Encouragement: What does it mean?? Best lesson out of his classes was to get inspired to be a real TEACHER. Simply teach well to let students get the best out of the class. Hope that day comes......
